Order Still Not Received One Month Later

I ordered 2 x hoodies one month ago and they still haven't arrived. The Couriers Please tracking says that they are sitting interstate (Victoria). A Target team member told me that Australia Post had already delivered my parcel to me (?!?). I phoned Couriers Please. They are still waiting for the hoodies from Target. I then spent 45 minutes on call waiting to Target to be told that they would 'open an investigation'. This is ridiculous. I am a regular customer of Target but am not going to be any more.

Missing delivery made to the wrong address and no resolution

I made an online order and the delivery was sent to the wrong address. Both TARGET and its delivery partner admitted that they were at fault, but no one is taking responsibility to rectify the missing order. TARGET customer service apologised for the error, and promised to either re-deliver or refund for the missing order but continued to delay any actions to resolve the matter.

I have shopped with Target for many years but I will never order anything online with them again. A pyjama set that I ordered which was $45 has not been delivered and it is very difficult to get in contact with any customer support. I am very disappointed in the quality of their products and their service.

What a joke

They're two-day policies and absolute joke you're not going to get it in 2 days you'll get it in like 8 to 10 days it's not going to be in two days I just figured that out myself. I recently March 9th as recently ordered two outfits for my daughter that was told today delivery here it is the 18th and I have yet to receive either item. If there's going to be shipping delays they should at least put it on the web page so that people don't anticipate items I anticipated these items in time for St Patrick's Day and well that was yesterday and the items weren't here yesterday and they're not going to be here today and they're probably not going to be here next week I did manage to cancel one item and I'll get my refund in 7 to 10 business days which I'm sure with the way that this company works I probably won't get that refund until after my daughter graduates college insert sarcasm. The other item I have to print out a shipping label and then take it to the store so I can get a refund which will again take 7 to 10 business days.

Target is so horrible

Target is horrible, you place an order, 2 days later the item is not available. Years passed and still the same no improvement, It’s simple in stock or not.
You wait for the refund, hoping to buy something else, you get charged delivery again and might not be in stock.

They give you promotion code that don’t work.
No one to talk to anyone on weekends, only unhelpful AI.
Website and the app are buggy all the time for years.

Mannerism of Customer Service Counter - Target, Chermside, Qld

Well customer service counter staff should have training on public relations & interaction appropriately with any customers. Undergarments for boy 7 was pick up wrong size, which discovered after we return home. I understand those type of items are not returnable due to hygiene, however, thought, I asked, the staff at the customer service counter was looking at me as I was totally uneducated, undergarments are not refutable once left the store rack, that’s why you have check properly as I was explaining to her we pick up by mistake, not because of cannot exchange, the manner in I was dealt with by staff was appalling… should be “sorry to learn that item was pick up mistakenly, as per store’s policy undergarments are not returnable once purchased & left the store rack.”.. that sounded much better.. yes sort trivia in other mind, it’s significant matter to other when manner of communicating to others in social interaction/public relations arena. Thank you.

Terrible

I placed an order for a child's toy on 1 Dec 2025. Target advised it had been packed and picked up. Days later tracking shows nothing is happening. Their courier advises that the article was not in the palletised order and never received by them.
Target just keep saying they are investigating. What a rort! Terrible customer service, when you call customer service sounds like it is overseas. Basically no one cares. I won't be using them again and will be taking the matter further as it is the principle of the matter. If you have ordered and paid for something, either provide the item or refund the money. LIFT YOUR GAME Target!!

Turned my auto renewal back on themselves.

I am certain that I turned off auto renewal for my target 360 last year due to their backtracking on DEI policies. Without any communication from target at all in the past year, I received an email that I was charged for renewal of my target 360 account with text that said it is not refundable. This is a dark business practice that I find unacceptable. I have filed a better business bureau complaint and will file a complaint with the attorney general if my money is not refunded.

Do better, Target.

This is my first review, and unfortunately it isn’t a positive one. My first online ordering experience with Target has been terrible.

I ordered three items on 30/11/2025, allowing plenty of time for them to arrive before Christmas. Two items arrived (from different stores), but the third—valued at almost $200—was collected by Couriers Please and never made it to the depot.

I contacted both Target and Couriers Please multiple times to locate the missing item. Each time, I was given the same response: to allow their team “a few more days” to investigate. I asked if a replacement could be sent so it would arrive before Christmas, but nothing was done. I am still waiting, and my patience has run very thin.

I have remained polite throughout and have tried every possible contact method—online chat, email, phone, and even Facebook—yet have received no meaningful assistance. I also requested a refund if the item could not be found, as I cannot afford to be out of pocket. Again, nothing.

There is no option to escalate the issue, no one higher up to speak to, and no help available in-store either. How exactly are customers supposed to get their money back?

Up until this experience, I was happy to shop at Target, but this has left a very bad taste in my mouth. I feel like I’m being punished for a mistake that wasn’t mine. I genuinely regret not paying a little extra at another store instead of trying to save money during a sale.

I do not recommend using Target’s online services at all. The responses feel scripted and unhelpful, and the customer service has been truly disgusting. Do better, Target.

New policy

To say l am profoundly disappointed with the recent experience I had at your store. On Christmas Eve, I purchased a $30 shirt and, to my knowledge, was not asked if I wanted a receipt nor was one provided to me at the point of sale.

When I returned to the store seeking to exchange the shirt for a smaller size, I was informed that I could not do so without a receipt, despite having paid with my card. Furthermore, I was told that no exchanges or refunds are permitted without a receipt, even though the transaction was completed via card payment. The staff member mentioned that many customers had been turned away in recent days, which I find unacceptable.

Given the timing during the festive season, I believe a reasonable grace period for exchanges would be appropriate, especially since I was not asked if I wanted a receipt in the first place. It seems concerning that Target’s policy now hinges solely on the possession of a receipt, which in many cases is not explicitly requested or provided. This appears to be a strategic move to limit returns and exchanges, possibly to boost record profits.

This experience has led me to question the value of being a loyal customer of Target. I trust that you will review this policy and consider the importance of customer service and honesty during such a peak shopping period.

If I could give them a 0 I would

If I could give them a 0 I would. I have spent countless hours trying to get through time and time again. My order got rejected for some reason they couldn’t answer before sending a message saying:

We are sorry to advise that your order has been rejected.

Your order can be rejected for a number of reasons.

It can be anything from mismatch in email address, payment details, personal details, etc. Or it can just be a random review as we periodically do this to protect the security and integrity of your own details and the Target Online store.

Which we do outline in our terms.

Before we can release or a new order can be placed, we need to verbally confirm your details over the phone. Please contact our team on xxx.

I had called through twice before receiving this email and each time I verified the details on my account. Unfortunately this was not enough and they needed me to ring in a third time. Each phone call in means half an hour wait time. Some times I was hung up on by the person so I had to ring back in and wait another 30 minutes.

Honestly the worst service I have received in my whole life which is why I’m leaving this review.

Because of this service I also won’t receive my child’s present in time for Christmas as well. I don’t even know why they would reject it in the first place. The account is mine. The cards on account are mine. The email is mine. The address is same as on the cards which is also mine. There’s no reason my order should have been flagged or rejected.

I actually never want to shop at target again.

1 of 3 separate deliveries have been lost, and frankly not much has been done to recover my lost $338 LEGO. I think they are hoping to wait till a time has lapsed. They bleeped up because Im a dog with a bone and I will not rest until my kids christmas present is found.
Pretty mad right now!

Not even worth 1 star

Not even worth 1 star, purchased online to pick up in store, received a confirmation, funds were taken but within 20seconds i notice the order was cancelled. Have spent over a week just trying to get information about why.... as i way 14 days for the refund....

Try to contact support and if i get through (they generally just disconnect straight away - unless you select "business enquiry" rather than refund) they are no help at all simply stating "we've email the relevant team" who that team is, they cant say.

Awful customer service

The customer service is absolutely terrible. Returns are not acknowledged. Most stores acknowledge the return of the parcel and provide a refund immediately. The customer service chat is poorly managed, often noone answers. I get a message ' you are number 1 in queue, wait time of 30 seconds'. 10 mins later, nothing changes.
