Deceived into signing for a €120 charge
I have been a customer of Tango for many years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing.
For several weeks I had serious problems with my home internet connection. The connection was unstable and I was frequently left without internet. After at least five calls to customer service, they finally sent a technician.
The technician said that a cable was damaged and replaced it. I clearly explained that no one in my household had touched the installation and that the issue was most likely related to the previous installation done by one of their technicians.
After completing the repair, he asked me to sign on his tablet. At no point did he inform me that this signature meant accepting a €120 charge. He simply asked me to sign on the screen.
Later, I received an invoice for €120. I find this practice completely dishonest and misleading. I never agreed to pay for this intervention and I was never informed about any cost before signing.
I refused to pay the invoice, but I was told that the amount would still be charged in instalments, which I find completely unacceptable.
I do not recommend Tango. I am currently informing myself about my rights and will consider taking legal action if necessary, because this type of practice should not be acceptable.
Worst internet company in the world!
It’s a pity I can’t give 0 to this terrible company! The quality of the service is terrible. Nothing is clear with them. They charge you costs that don’t make any sense. Once you sign the contract you are hooked.
Any other internet company is better.
If tango is the only option is better not to have internet.
Compliment: The New Hope... Sandy
After all the previous shitshow
Today I am writing a Compliment about Tango's Customer Service.
There is a Godsent lady working there a true hidden diamond!
She has the professionalism to defuse a ticking nuclear level client ready to explode for a major error comitted by someone else. ( Cancelling a line without prior notice or call )
She has saved the disconnected lifeline and restored the service to my son.
All parents knows that feeling when cannot reach the kiddo...
At least someone who listened which is
A breath of fresh air nowadays.
Keep up the good work Madame Sandy!
You deserve the 5 stars or more...
Warmest regards Norbert
Hope you read this: the email with the properly rectified contract did not came through...

Very good employee
I had an issue with my Tango service and called customer support. Steve handled my case perfectly he was extremely helpful, explained everything professionally and step by step until the problem was fully resolved . Thank you, Steve, for your patience and excellent service. (( Tango is lucky to have employees like him )) .

Mobile companies are bad, Tango are the worst
They may be cheap, but avoid them. You won't be satisfied. You phone their support after waiting 20 mins you get "I'm sorry there's an error"
You try their chat, they say, sorry you have to phone support,
Mobile data doesn't work, you try to login online, it says, sorry there's an error, contact support.
None of their systems work. They won't call you. Normally you'd have to put real effort into being this bad - and possibly they have.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience – avoid!
We had a very bad experience with this internet provider in Luxembourg. They charged us an additional fee for cancelling our line at the end of our contract without informing us. We had called to make sure all invoices were paid and everything was settled, yet they still sent a charge with no explanation. Their customer service is extremely unhelpful and unable to resolve any issues. Truly disappointing – I would strongly advise avoiding this provider. I would rante it -15 if I could. They do not even deserve one star !!!!

The company is not to be trusted at…
The company is not to be trusted at all, I am talking from a personal experience with them.
On multiple occasions Tango has provided and shared information and personal details in their system to third party, I was not aware of that until recently and when I complained the data protection manager could not provide any logical explanation later I sent an email to the customer service complaining and demanding a response on who such sensitive information could be shared with anyone. Ever since I sent the email the customer support has been ignoring my calls where I waited for 30 minutes on five times and then a voicemail says there is a technical issue and they hang up, I have been customer for over four years I have never called and waited more than few minutes.
I seriously suggest to everyone who read this review to reconsider their decision on either renewing their contract or signing a new contract. The company is doesn’t care about protecting your privacy or your rights to get an explanation of any issues all they care about is collecting the bill at the end of the month. This is my personal experience I am sharing it because everyone should be aware of this especially nowadays with all the hacking and scam is happening so protecting your personal information should be a priority and Tango does not care about that.

Avoid Tango Luxembourg
Avoid Tango Luxembourg – Unreliable Service & Terrible Customer Support!
This is the second time in five months that I have lost internet due to Tango’s poor infrastructure, and I am absolutely done with their incompetence.
The first time, back in September and October, I was left without internet for three weeks before they finally sent a technician. Even though the issue was on their end, they showed zero accountability—no apology, no compensation. Now, it’s happening again.
Since yesterday, I have had no internet. I have called multiple times, only to be sent from one number to another with no solution. When I went to their store in Bascharage, the staff were outright rude and dismissive. One employee, Nicholas, simply ignored me and walked away, while his colleague—holding his lunch—told me there was nothing they could do and that I should “call technical support” (which I had already done, to no avail).
I refuse to wait three weeks again for a service I am paying for but not receiving. Tango’s handling of technical issues is absolutely unacceptable, and their customer service is non-existent.
If this is how they treat paying customers, I strongly advise everyone to stay away from Tango Luxembourg. If the issue is not resolved immediately, I will escalate my complaint to the Institut Luxembourgeois de Régulation (ILR) and take further legal action.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this company unless you enjoy paying for services that don’t work!

New receivdoes not work!
After contact with Technician, the modem and the TV decoder were defect.
To get the new devices, We had had to go to the HQ in Bertrange. The office is only open from Monday to Friday, in my case, I had to take 1/2 day of to go to the office, configure and test the new material.
Now it is working fine 🧘🧘🧘

I’m a loyal customer since long time but…
I booked the iPhone 16Pro on the 14th of September and no news yet. I have 2 line but i can order only 1 phone. I received discount code for 2 devices but i cannot use those because they don’t have the phone and both expires soon. I called the helpdesk and the only thing they said is to wait. Unbelievable. I’ll move everything to the Post

Disappointed with Tango’s Lack of Support for Technical Issues
I have been using Tango for both mobile and home WiFi services for several years. However, when I encountered technical issues with my WiFi, no one came to resolve the problem. As a result, I decided to cancel my contract and will also be ending my mobile subscription in January 2025.

Beware of TANGO's Deceptive Practices
Beware of TANGO's Deceptive Practices
I had a terrible experience with TANGO, and I feel compelled to warn others about their unethical practices. This company operates like modern-day pirates. I started receiving unsolicited SMS messages, which appeared to be coming from the internet. It turns out that TANGO collaborates with these scammers.
Despite never subscribing to any of these services, I was hit with exorbitant bills from TANGO. They claimed that I had signed up for some online services and that the charges would be billed through my mobile service provider. This is completely false and misleading.
I strongly advise everyone to stay away from TANGO. Their deceptive practices and lack of transparency can lead to significant financial losses. Be cautious and protect yourself from becoming their next victim.

Not recommendable
Very bad experience. We booked their service for a week on a camping in France. Internet did not work and was very very unstable so that we could not work. Also our claim was handled very unkindly. It seems that cuatomer satisfaction is not their philosophy.
Very sad and poor image.

If 0 stars is possible i would rated them so!
Guys it’s an unprofessional company. I called them to know about the offers they have as i wanted to change my phone. The helpline girl recommended an option and said that this is the equivalent to what i had at that time. After buying the phone i found out she gave me the wrong information because the offer that i have doesn’t include social media like the one i had. When i called them to complain they said they can do anything about it. They suggest that i upgrade the subscription and for sure pay more!! They wanted that i pay for their mistake.
Totally disappointed! Especially that i’ve been with them for 5 years. They don’t care about customers they only care about money.
What a shame…

Not worth the time.
In holidays in Luxembourg and thought we get a local card. What a waste of time.
The card isn't working, we cannot call but the internet works. Would have been better just to use the local free wifi.
Do not recommend because it took time and money to organise and all that for nothing.

Theving as you'd expect from a country such as Luxembourg.
I selected the cheapest possible program, which amounts to roughly 30 euros per month (which is absolutely ludicrous for EU standards). Even with those robbing prices, the internet coverage is pathetic, despite the whole country being slightly larger than a large city. Then, as a final offense, once I asked them to terminate my contract from the 1st of the following month since I was leaving the country, they terminated it some days before, nullifying the data I had bought which I really needed to work and finish every task I needed to do before leaving. If you can obtain a data contract in any other EU country, do it and make sure it can be used in Luxembourg as well via roaming, for every provider is deemed to be the worst by expats and residents.

TANGO one of the biggest SCAM of LUXEMBOURG
They let me take an cotract for 12 months an after 2 weeks they said i had still something left to pay from the past(but they didnt give me the actual bill and on my tangodashboard is no bill there is njo actual document i asked several times again and their only reply was if you dont want to pay your bill dont do it, isaid to them i will not pay something without receving the actual bill ) so now im stuck because i have now to pay the past bill and the new bills at the same time but i cant use my number its bloked so i pay to pay without the possibility to be called or call if they have said that to me earlier i coul ve pay th past bill first and then make an contract but they didnt and now i pay for naught
Feels like a scam
This phone company actually feels like it is trying really hard to scam people. First they try to extract every extra euros from you. I had indicated that I didn't want to receive the bills over post (costs 2 euros) and even after contacting them about it, they charged me those 2 euros after a month and i didn't even receive a bill at home...I only noticed a bit later. If people don't check their direct debit they will just be easily scammed without even noticing.
I got a mobile plan with a promotional offer they had but they didn't inform me at all about a deadline for the offer and just increased the price out of nowhere (I wasn't informed when making the contract, not informed over the app, not over email and not before the increase in price, not ethical and fair at all.) I don't recommend them at all, but if you still choose them make sure to keep an eye out for sudden mysterious increases especially if you are using direct debit.
A real joke - dont trust the agent Pereira Dias Andreia
Signed a contract and agreed on the installation date with an agent named Pereira Dias Andreia. Took a leave to wait for them all day and they didn't come. Emailed and called the Agent but apparently is on leave for another 1.5 weeks . Tried to call the help desk and being redirected 5 times with everyone pretty much saying it's not their responsibility. Finally able to speak to someone who was willing to help but was told he couldn't find my account number and hence no appointment date set. Not sure where the disconnect so now still left with the internet. Overall, feels like Lux is not ready with the influx of demands coming in, especially from the immigrants and people left with limited options so they can still do whatever they want. Shame on them.
