I work for the food delivery companies using an ebike. I have purchased three ebikes from Take Charge over the last few years and I've been very happy with my purchases.
As I cover an incredibly large number of miles, I use Take Charge to repair and service my ebike and always find the staff helpful and knowledgeable.
Would highly recommend.

Just had some repair work and a service carried out in the Bath shop - quick to fit me in, work carried out to high standard and very reasonable cost...definitely recommend for e-bikes...

Bought a Kalkhoff entice 5b season online from the bath store and having a chance to fully test it out i am absolutely delighted with it. The performance is amazing climbing relatively steep hills in high gears with no effort at all. The battery goes long distances between charges. David Tod, shop owner i think, was very helpful with all the email correspondence and the finance before i decided to buy. All went well with delivery and highly recommend shop.

I dealt with the Woking branch. I bought the Mirider folding E bike. Steve spotted a small defect in the paint whilst charging it and ordered a replacement that morning and it arrived a couple of days later. Efficient and professional service. Would recommend.

Wonderful and professional experience, I had issues with my e-bike and the guys were more than happy to help rectify the problem.

I bought a Cube ebike from the Bath branch just over a couple of years ago. It’s worked like a charm and I’ve ridden it pretty heavily, well over 6000 miles now.
Some items have worn out in that time (mainly worn sprockets/chain, worn freewheel) and the quality, speed and cost of the repairs has been excellent.
I’d strongly recommend the shop as they know their stuff and they’re easy to deal with.

Have now bought two ebikes from TakeCharge Bikes in Woking and have been more than satisfied on both occasions. Steve is very helpful, considerate and knowledgeable. He is very willing to go well above and beyond the expectations of his customers and nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend.

I have shopped for some time at the Exeter store, solely because of Tony who runs the place, apart from being a really nice guy who I know has a tremendous reputation with really serious cyclists, triathletes etc, Tony is so helpful with lesser bikes owners as myself and I really recommend his services and advice on all bike related issue.

I took my wheelbarrow to the shop because after trying for several days, I was unable to remove the wheel, to have a puncture repaired. The staff were helpful and enthusiastic from the start and clearly wanted to help. After a brief struggle they managed to remove the wheel and found that both the inner and outer tube had perished. One of the staff looked online for an inner tube that they did not stock and found that SCREWFIX, nearby in Bath, could provide both an inner tube or a complete replacement solid wheel that cannot be punctured. I chose the solid wheel in view of the difficulty in removing the wheel. Then they replaced the wheel, turning the screws by finger pressure only, so that I can remove them at home for the replacement. One of them helped me carry the wheelbarrow outside to the car and place it in the rear compartment.

I was very impressed with the helpful, pleasant attitude of the three members of staff and I wish them well and success in their business. If my family has bicycle problems in future, we shall go to Take Charge with confidence. WELL DONE. George Steang.

I dealt with the shop in Bath. Communication was poor, I always had to follow emails with a phone call as they didn’t respond. They had weeks to move the computer on the handlebars but when I arrived it hadn’t been done. The bike was also very dirty which was disappointing. They said they would be in touch to give me info about my tyres and whether they could be converted to to tubeless, no heard anything 4 weeks later.

Take charge bikes recently repaired and serviced my electric bikes. Although the parts from Austria took longer than anticipated to arrive David kept me fully informed. When the bikes were delivered back to me I could not fault the workmanship and the cost was very competitive.
Would certainly recommend their services.
