As a family we have been stressed and frustrated from the start of the process which took 2 years, almost to the day. Whilst Frances is a very pleasant lady, despite being asked a number of times in the first 4 months she did not answer the question had she arranged for someone to go to the deceased house to pick up his financial papers. We went there at the beginning of the 5th month. She did not supply the key to the estate agent who was to be valuing his house and letting us in. When we eventually gained entry we discovered months of mail lying on the floor which was eventually sent on to me 2 months later. I also found my cousin's Will and discovered that I was an executor. Despite me having asked before our visit in what way I was named in the Will she had failed to tell me about the executry. I was appalled. When the post arrived here there were statements from several banks and building societies that showed my cousin was a wealthy man. Together with the sale of the house there was going to be a substantial sum to pay in Inheritance tax which Frances must have known had to be paid within 6 months of death. It was paid very late and the Estate became liable for a fine of over £4000 which would never have been due if she'd arranged access to the house early on. The financial papers which were in my cousin's office at home as he had told me weren't found until 9 months after decease when a charity went in to gather items for sale as agreed with Frances. I had to prompt to have things attended to like insuring the empty property, having post redirected, garden maintenance and more. It was a horrible experience and very stressful till the estate was finally settled after 2 years. I maintained a polite relationship with Frances all the way through as I didn't want her to have any excuse to delay things further. In January I wrote to 3 of the directors to protest the lack of attention that led to the Estate paying a fine for late Inheritance Tax. There has been no reply, not even an acknowledgement. Awful.

As executors of my Late Brother's Will, We would like to thank Frances and her team.

Its been quite a journey to get to today, however with your support and due diligence it hasn't been quite as fraught as we expected, all being a bit of a bumpy ride.

As I live in Canada, I communicated solely by email and was impressed with his immediate replies; it was a very stress free experience. A very professional and dedicated company.

We had a long drawn out probate with a very difficult beneficiary. Frances dealt with everything professionally and kept the beneficiary concerned at arms length from myself and the other executor. I would recommend this company. The process went on for 3 years and her patience was amazing.

Everything explained clearly with expected timeliness for duration of process.
We did have to prompt for an update once or twice but response to queries quick and where hold ups might be.

Doing my Mum's estate was tricky and took several months to finalise. Throughout the whole process it was great to have a friendly competant person to speak to. I had Jordan Cooling who was my point of contact, and it was never any bother when I had queries for him. The process took almost a year due to probate issues but Jordan updated me on a monthly basis (or more often if needed). Even when probate had been granted, Jordan was professional when dealing with relative who was overseas. His professionalism made a stressful situation easier for me and I appreciate him and his team very much. I would not hesitate to use SWW Trust Corp. again, especially if I could deal with Mr Cooling.

We used SWW Trust Corporation for assistance with a probate matter which we felt was too complex to deal with ourselves due to the sale of a property being involved. We dealt with Jordan Cooling who was very helpful, responded to all of our queries in a timely manner and kept us updated as to progress. Would recommend.

I visited their offices and the gentleman I met was most helpful and efficient. Sadly, he is not the one looking after my case and the service has subsequently been incredibly slow and they are so hard to get any updates from.
Emails take many days/weeks to get answered and they also forgot to request some information they required, which delayed things yet again.
Due to the above failures, I am not able to recommend and would suggest you look elsewhere if you are looking for an efficient service.

Update: Further to my review, my case is now complete and paid, thank you. The entire process would have been a lot easier with regular communication.

Firstly, I cannot thank Jordan and Team enough for the hard work, perseverance and great attitude when completing my late mother and fathers estate.

Within the 1st day of appointing SWW Trust executors of my late parents estate, I knew we where in great hands. Unfortunately some of the companies SWW had to deal with on my behalf were less than professional, but Jordan and Team always persued and pushed with a level of professionalism that never wavered.

I was always informed and kept up to date on everything and never felt out of touch with the process.

I would recommend them highly and cannot again thank them enough.

Have used SWW Trust on 2 occasions both for probate. On the whole I was satisfied with their service. I did have trouble with admin as I felt they did not keep in touch as much as they could have. I also had to chase them on a few occasions about different things. I finally had a long chat with Jordan who sorted out my problems straight away. Was very grateful for the help. Do not think I could have managed on my own.

We referred a client to the SWW Trust Corporation as they needed a Grant of Probate to sell a property and handle the closure of some accounts.

The team advised my client with regards to the process, and they were happy with this and the service provided.

This is very important to me as a business owner trusting another firm to take good care of my clients when I refer them for other services.

I needed to have my property transferred and the team at the SWWTC assisted with this, the legalities and timescales were explained fully so we were aware of what was involved. Great service

Horrible company to have to deal with.
I have requested figures from Frances 8 times now since the end of March 2024.
I offered a solution to this never ending inheritance issue but couldn’t proceed because the lack of figures made it impossible.

It is now June 26/06/24, still no figures and no explanation.

Do not use this company unless you wish to cause your loved ones health impacting misery.

Still no figures or any contact from SWW Trust.

I just tried calling you as you suggested. You’re closed.
Further misinformation. And still no figures.

It would be interesting to know the date you were instructed by the executors to withhold the figures.
