We recently had our exterior walls coated by SWS, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We recently had SWS Wall Coatings complete the external rendering on our extension, and we're extremely pleased with the results.

The team did an excellent job colour matching the new render to our existing property, making the extension blend in seamlessly. They also carried out a small repair to the existing render, which was much appreciated and finished to a high standard.

The fitters were professional, polite, and reliable. They arrived on time each day, kept us informed throughout the work, and completed everything exactly as promised.

We recently had our bungalow rendered by SWS wall Coatings who did a first class job. Adam and his colleague were courteous and efficient, completed the job in the timescale promised and to a high standard. Great attention to detail and a professional clean finish, our property looks like new. They went above and beyond! Thanks to all involved. I would highly recommend this company.

The paintwork was completed on my parents house today. It was all done in a day, wet cement was applied with using their hands and then painted over wet. The black line at the bottom of the house wasn’t straight. Paint on guttering , down pipe and door. It promised to have a smooth finish but some areas are really rough and a poor finish. The wood work was not sanded as they promise on their website and a really poor finish. The mess they left all over the pavement was just shocking. I would not recommend this company at all.

I hired SWS after receiving a very reasonable quote compared to another company. Initially, things looked promising — despite a delay due to illness, the owner personally got the job started, and a regular team eventually took over. The lead worker was even kind enough to offer to paint a few extra areas in his own time to ensure a polished finish.

For the first few days, I was genuinely pleased with the progress and how quickly any issues were addressed. However, once most of the work was done and only the clean-up and final touches remained, I was asked to pay the remaining balance early so they could purchase a new van. They assured me they’d return to finish the job.

Unfortunately, that’s when things took a turn. I waited over a month for them to come back, during which I was repeatedly harassed for money, blocked by the owner (making communication impossible), and given excuse after excuse. When they finally returned, they refused to complete the extra work they had previously offered — citing it wasn’t in the contract — and caused damage to both the path and front door.

While they did refund me for a new lock and handle, I’m still left with unfinished work that I now have to complete myself. I would advise others to proceed with caution when considering SWS. The initial price may be attractive, but the lack of professionalism and follow-through made this a deeply frustrating experience.
