It the last day of our mortgage offer and the day of exchanging contracts it turns out that there is a third party involved and the seller can not sell the property. We lost a good amount and I do think that those searches should be made at early stage which is solicitors job. I do not recommend this company!

If I could give zero star I would. I have invested in property for the last 20 years. They have to be the worst solicitors I’ve ever dealt with. Sweeney Miller came recommended by a mortgage broker, who has since stopped referring clients to them because of the complaints he was receiving. I Instructed Sweeney Miller to help with a lease extension over two years ago, and still haven’t completed. They claim to be efficient, bring matters to early conclusion, professional yet personalised service, good communication. My experience has been the complete opposite. Jess did not enforce a contract which has been to my detriment. She is impossible to get hold of. It takes weeks and months for her to respond to emails, does not keep me updated or take/schedule calls even after weeks of asking. Over a month ago I have requested that the case go to First-tier Tribunal (Property Chamber) as, yet my request has not been actioned. I raised a formal complaint, and they just gave a load of excuses. I have since lodged a complaint with the Legal Ombudsman and awaiting their assessment. Very disappointing this business is able to operation and there is no accountability.

We were very pleased with the team, especially Anthony, who was assigned to our case. When we asked him a question, he responded quickly and provided an update.
Due to a mistake made by their team, our purchase case encountered a complication, requiring us to change solicitors, unfotunately. Despite this, they took full responsibility for the issue and worked closely with us to resolve it. We were not only treated very nicely, but also financially compensated for the inconvenience caused by their mistake.

I have never come across a more sincere solicitor firm. Charlie was absolutely amazing. He communicated every step of a complicated litigation case and managed to settle the dispute with every angle covered. It was a huge relief to have such a competent person acting on my behalf. In a modern age where office visits are not required, I will certainly recommend Charlie and this firm to anyone no matter where they are in the UK. Great job! Thank you so much

What can I say - Fantastic! We have purchased a couple of properties through Sweeney Miller and some re-mortgages, each case was very different but they did everything to get them over the line. One house we wished to purchase had a 6 week deadline and they smashed it!

Wrote a detailed review but the firm got in touch to claim that my review was defamatory and to remove it. I have therefore removed it as per their request.

So many mistakes - sent me about 10 different completion statements with ridiculous errors, paid off old mortgage on wrong date causing £1500 fee, got stamp duty, HA solicitors fees and made up estate agents fees on statement, denied they were acting for me when seller's solicitors contacted them, slow to respond. The conveyancer even has the word conveyancer spelt wrong on her email signature, that should have been a clue to the standard of service. Pick someone else, I am having to complain to the ombudsman, the lack of attention to detail has cost me far more than I saved.
