Swan Science Reviews 

We discovered and contacted Swan Science having become aware of them through the Allergy & Free From Show. We completed a preliminary health questionnaire and then a short clinical-style questionnaire that looked at skin, gut health, immune triggers, and environmental factors. This was requested to build a clearer picture of what tests were needed and to allow for a more appropriate recommendation rather than guessing. The communication from Susan at Swan Science was faultless. We have for the first time had in-depth test results from a blood test which allows us to really understand the problem and where to go from here. Yes, it costs, but it has been money well spent and I would recommend it to anyone who has been going round in circles trying to understand their health concerns.

Having had gut problems for years, my GP referred me to a colorectal surgeon where I began a series of scans because each scan revealed a problem which led to another scan. Eventually I was told I had a problem with my Pancras, liver, colon and rectum.
Worried as I had now become, no surgeon made any proposal as to how I may be helped . Attempts to fix my many problems with surgery were deemed more likely to add injury rather than heal it.
With a waiting time of a month to see a GP on the NHS, I contacted Swan Science who were offering very comprehensive stool tests and a full range of blood tests. Firstly I did the stool tests and several co-occurring reasons for my problems were suggested. In line with best practise, no diagnosis was given whilst suggestions for presenting the results to a specialist was advised. Deciding to be fully armed with information, I decided to take the blood tests with Swan Science. These.wide ranging tests were easy and painless. The results came with red flags marking
individual results that needed attention. An additional page summarised the results for presentation to a GP.
When I saw my GP he was very impressed to have every type of information before him. He had two screens and was able to cross refer findings from both the stool sample tests and the blood tests. From these results my doctor was able to understand my complex medical condition and prescribe medication. He also decided to recall me “to keep a watchful eye” at regular intervals. I am already finding some improvement in my health.
I have also learned how important the results I received from Swan Science are. I felt informed and confident when attending the GP surgery. The knowledge I had in my results meant I knew I would be heard and that my health troubles (that could not be helped by surgery) would be seen in my Swan Scoence test results as needing to be addressed

I ordered 2 tests for myself and my partner as we have varying food issues.
The tests arrived quickly, the instructions were easy to follow and the results arrived in less than a week.
We’ve found the results really insightful based on our normal eating habits.
Now I have more understanding of the test, and how it works, I want to do another one after having a super varied diet for a couple of weeks so I can get a full scope reading of as many of the 200 food types as possible, including some of my ‘issue’ foods as I haven’t eaten some items for a few years meaning they didn’t show a reaction on my test.
