Do not insure with these company.

Do not insure with this company!
After going through a comparison website, I paid in full for a policy with these clowns. I then received an email demanding I call for validation purposes. When I called to clarify what they wanted I was told I would not be insured within 500 metres of my home unless my bike was locked away as it would be overnight. I asked for clarification, because that meant my local petrol station, post office, shop etc (all within 500 metres) would be an issue. I was told explicitly that if I return home briefly because I forgot something I wasn't insured unless my bike had been fully put away first. Absolutely ridiculous nitpicking that demonstrated very clearly the problems these people would be in the future should I need to access the insurance I was paying for. My policy was started on a Friday, and I couldn't call them until after the weekend, when I told them I wanted to cancel after listening to their nonsense. For the privilege of this awful experience I was charged £35. £35 for nothing, for a policy 72 hours old, so well within a cooling off period. One would imagine that something called Suzuki Insurance would be reputable and professional. Think again.
I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using these jokers to call first and clarify exactly what their terms are, because I think you'll get bit if you don't.

In four decades of buying vehicle insurance I have never known anything like these charlatans.
Never again.

To anyone thinking of getting bike…

To anyone thinking of getting bike insurance with this company, look elsewhere! Thats free advice.
I got a quote through a comparison site, suzuki took my money and then demanded more afterwards for something I didn't do. I decided to cancel after just 2 days and they tiok almost £80 of my money, and they did all this with a horrible attitude and horrendous customer service. I wish I had read the other reviews 1st.
Stay clear guys.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Suzuki Insurance. After cancelling my motorcycle policy within the legal cooling-off period, I was charged an outrageously high fee that was never transparently explained. Their cancellation practices are unfair and far from customer-friendly. I would strongly advise anyone looking for motorcycle insurance to avoid this company.

I do not recommend, they did not accept my NCB, they cancelled my policy, £65 for cancellation and I was short of over £100, thieves and fraudsters

I'm very disappointed with this company. It is very difficult to get in touch over the phone. I only asked to make changes on my policy the day after I had purchased it (the policy wasn't even valid at that time) and they couldn't help me at all and just wanted charg for everything I wouldn't choose this insurance ever again. Don't recommend.

The company is called "Suzuki insurance" nowt to do with suzuki

I would like to state, that probably like someone else, i couldnt find something for "Suzuki insurance" only this, which i think it by suzzy themselves, could be wrong.

in 2022 i took out a policy, with Suzuki insurance, with experience of previous insurers, ageas and bikesure i was really hoping for another company.

Boy did i have a surprise, i called to cancel my insurance for my old machine, only to be told OH! you just took out another policy for another bike. A little gobsmacked, i said "yes and it isnt with you", she replied "that is another one of our companies", my heart sank. So i was now talking, not with bikesure or ageas, but with suzuki insurance.

She went on about that i wont be penalised for cancelling my policy as i had just taken up a new one. So i would get a full refund of the policy i took out 2 weeks ago, yep a £98 paid in full policy, and my refund £48 would have been cheaper just to let it run. Mind you they would probably have stung me somehow as you are about to find out on this new machine.

So i have signed up for another year of "oh dear me" kerching.

So lets get to the nitty gritty. My policy is due for renewal on the 15 of october, today is the 13th. One month before my renewal i get the usual email asking me to renew, NOW this IS NOT from "my insurer" so they tell me, they have said that over the last 3 renewals. They want you to renew BEFORE you renew date.

What happens is that you renew, due to this email, they then make another policy for your vehicle, it isnt actually a renewal it is a fresh policy. When you then get an email from the "actual insurer", i know even though they ARE the same company, but you dont know that yet, you check up and find you have 2 policies.

It just so happens that you get the "proper renewal" 15 days AFTER you took the other out, so you cannot go for a refund.... yes sneaky.

As i was saying they then suggest you cancel the old policy and go with the new one, which they told isnt anything to do with them!

They have just got a bunch of cash from you, with this manoeuvre.

I had to add this in or nothing would make sense.

So one month before my renew date, i get the usual email asking me to renew, 15 days later i didnt get an email this time from "suzuki isurance" i got a call wanting me to renew there and then.

I told them i would let them know if and when i would be renewing.

On the 11/10/23 i changed insurance, and to start when my old policy ended, 15/10/23.

2 minutes after i did the deed i got an email thanking me for renewing. So i went into my control panel for my policy, and there it was schedule and all FROM the 11/10/23...

Why would i renew before my end date, anyway onto the phone i go. After hearing that MCN compare for the next 20 mins, which is advertised as "mcn bike insurance" is in fact Ageas little baby, and absolutely nothing to do with motorcycle news.

So asked the young lass why they had automatically renewed my policy early, some muffled reply, so i pointed out when they had rang me and i had told them NOT renew, she started rambling on.

I then asked her why after just 2 mins of signing up with a new insurer, they had suddely renewed. Before i could finish that question she put me on hold with the promotion of MCN compare.

To this day i am still receiving emails thanking me for the renewal. They were trying to get me to renew early even though my account was paid up and they supposed to be covering me to the 15th of this month, thats in 2 days time.

We have had to put a block on our bank to prevent them taking money out.

If they product you sell is that good that you have to pretend to be lots of different companies, including motorcycle news, there is something seriously wrong with the product OR you are targeting the vulnerable.

I dont believe in manipulation, and if these "trust" sites have any "rock" to build on, it should be the truth.

This is an account of what happened and just hoping it will stop the same thing happening to others.

Just had an after thought, their renewal was well over £200 PLUS £25 handling fee PLUS another £25 fee, cannot remember what that was.

Using MCN compare the new policy was around £119. you figure.

So this review, statement of fact, cover2 2021, 2022 to this date 13/10/2023

Total rip off cowboys

Total rip off cowboys, i went onto the bike insurer compare website where i come across these cowboys so click buy and paid for my insurance in full no email confirmation so called will be half an hour even tho i was on way to pick bike up was reassured i was covered then got multiple texts and emails from them saying if i dont call my policy is invalid, every time i called was told someone different, was told they need to verify my details even tho they had them threw the comparison site as they were able to provide me a quote, this went on and on from 12:00pm to 5:30pm, then i said just cancel it that took over an hour then was charged £65 cancellation fee and £28 for a days cover which i still didnt have as was waiting for verification, please be aware these have no clue what they are doing and are out to charge you and rip you off anywhere they can use a more experienced company now with bennetts simple and easy as 123, jobs done
