All I got was a message saying we have your order, and another from DPD a full week later saying we have your parcel and will deliver on ...
We ordered a costly piece of cable and some ancillary items.
The delivery contained the ancillary items, but no cable, yet the delivery note included the cable.
From a customer's point of view, this is extremely concerning, so I emailed them immediately and am still waiting for a response after 2 weeks.
Fortunately, the cable appeared the next day, so my order was fulfilled, but there was no explanation.
I am being generous, giving 2 stars, and for the above reason, will not use them again.

The couriers used need to be a lot more…
The couriers used need to be a lot more efficient for internet based sales, or don't advertise same day despatch as it leads you to think you may get the goods within a few days not ten. Used to use DPD who were reliable but penny pinching has certainly not worked in my area

I placed an order on the 29th of April at around 9am with the item showing as low stock on the website. Below the item there was delivery information stating that if you ordered before 14.30 the item would be dispatched the next day or you could click and collect the item in two hours from Middlesborough. I received a confirmation email with all the details and delivery was estimated between 3-5 business days. On the 5th day I hasn’t received a dispatch email or or had any other contact from Superlec so I rang at 8am to ask if it was possible to come and collect the item instead as it was needed within the next couple of days. The employee told me he didn't know if it was still here so he would check and let me know. After an hour I hadn’t heard anything so I rang again and he said he still didn’t know but told me he would let me know by 10am. He didn’t ring me back so at 12pm I rang again to be told by Nathan Massingham that the employee had gone home for the day and that he would chase it up. I waited on the phone as he found out what was going on and he then came back to tell me they had none in stock, he guessed that they would be coming in that afternoon and told me that as I had placed my order over the weekend the website hadn’t updated to say that they were out of stock. I told him I had ordered it on a Wednesday and that the website was still showing as low stock despite him just telling me that they had none with no concrete date for when they would have them. This seems like madness to me, how can you show something as low stock when you actually have no stock. Then when an order is placed and you have none, you just go radio silence and hope that customers will sit and wait for their orders for an unknown amount of time. Nathan told me he would email me and would let me know if the item did come into stock that afternoon as he had guessed. I replied to the email asking him to cancel the order as I had managed to source the item elsewhere and received no reply. I waited a few days and then rang again to ask if the order had been cancelled or what was going on as I had no contact from them. The employee on the phone told me it had been cancelled already and apologised that I hadn’t been informed of this and I should receive the money back in 3-5 days. Very poor customer service and a very poor website design to show something as low stock when you have none. If the website is faulty that is one thing, but to allow customers to place orders with the promise of next day dispatch or click and collect in two hours when you have no stock to send is another thing completely. At the very least if something is out of stock and you’ve placed an order you would expect to be informed of it. Extremely poor customer service from start to finish and a very frustrating experience having to ring up and sit on hold to get something as simple as confirmation of a refund. I wont be using Superlec again unfortunately, no trust that you’ll actually receive your order despite what the website states. As of today the 11th of May I haven’t received any money back and am sitting £532.80 out of pocket.

I have used your company before
I have used your company before, however this time my delivery was not left on first delivery due to me not being at home. However when I placed my order, I gave them the instruction to leave at the back of the garage, this was ignored.
When you were delivering the second time, I was not able to put my instructions on the DPD site.
I left a note on my front door, and the driver left it for me.
What a faff, I think you need to sort your delivery process out.
I doubt I will be ordering from you again, As a company, I can’t afford to be wasting my time!!
