Terrible experience with this company

Terrible experience with this company

For starters the start day of the job, we had a no show with no contact from the company, I had to chase it up myself, the follow up day arranged, another no show with no contact.
For first part of job (windows and rear patio door) fitters were great and efficient, but come Saturday after installation, the patio door couldn't be locked/closed. Admittedly by this point I was really unhappy, and the company didnt seem it appropriate to get this fixed immediately (by Monday) so another delay.
When it came to fitting front door (already ordered when salesman came) we'd asked for a door that youd need to have a key to open from outside, salesman told us he could do it, then upon further inspection of invoice he'd snuck on "if possible", our previous door was this way (due to previous break in and we explained this to the salesman). The door was then due to be installed on a Friday, another no show and myself having to contact them around 12 to find out what's going on, re booked for Monday, low and behold... same thing, no show and no call, I had to chase it up again. It turns out the door wasnt even ready to be picked up on the day we had booked in, and wouldnt actually be ready till following Tuesday, yet they still booked us in for Monday.
The next day the door arrives, wrong product, the locking mechanism we specifically asked for was not on the door, and by this point id had enough, I spoke to the company owner, he said it couldn't be done... he lied, because he somehow found the right locking mechanism to be installed, after the door had been installed. He then turned up himself to change the lock, unsuccessfully.
We finally got the door and the lock we ordered after weeks of stress, delays, no shows, wrong product, wrong installation

Wont be using this company again

Absolutely abysmal after care service

Absolutely abysmal after care service, bay doors dropped considerably after fitting, no problem, no rush just give me a time and a place for someone to come out and fix it.
Friday - no one turned up after waiting all morning, phoned up, sorry our fault, how is monday morning, "You will be a priority"
Okay no problem, Monday comes, no one turns up, I phone them up to chase, the workers van has broken down.... okay getting annoyed now, im not free in the afternoon, but can do Tuesday.
All the Appolgies in the world, what ever, just please send someone tomorrow, agreed, first thing someone will be at your house, 10am, no sign, I phone up, the bloke allocated to us has gone to a job in Leeds instead of coming to our house... okay now what he is on his way and will be at your house at 2pm, turns up at half past and fixes thw dropped door
Wasted 3 days of my life waiting for these mugs.
They will promise to ring you back... they won't, like ever, not once
Lies, lies and more lies, when i became annoyed and gave Hassan some grief for messing me about, suddenly im the one causing problems, accusing me of phoning 50 times and he had bigger jobs on... the only times i phoned was during the intial issue, then chasing them up when work men didnt turn up

Speaking of which, the 0300 number obviously reroutes to one of 3 mobile numbers, so you have no consistency in customer service, be prepare to explain everything to 3 different people... who again will not phone you back
Oh he also accused me been a demanding customer at this point, i have 4 weeks off work, so i want uber flexible for an appointment, he chose to let me dowm 3 times, he chose the time and dates for people to.not show up

All there workers are sub contracters anyway, my advice, dont use them, any problems with fitting a completely different sub contractor will be coming out to fix your problem. So why not just go direct to someone?

Choose a company thats not run by disorganised clowns, who are happy to take your money but then not happy to easily resolve problems in a polite and construct8ve manner

I had a mixed experience with…

I had a mixed experience with SupaGlazing Ltd. Initially, the process of getting new windows installed seemed promising, as the communication was efficient and the staff were friendly. There was a small hiccup with a detail during the installation, but it was promptly resolved. However, on the morning of the fitting, the team was delayed, and although they managed to complete the job, there were issues with the finish, which required follow-up. Despite these challenges, the company addressed the problems, though the overall inconvenience affected my experience. I appreciate their effort to rectify the situation but believe there is room for improvement in their service reliability. 3 stars.

Not the only person to have been caught out I know. I paid a £2700 deposit on 2nd November. Last communication with the company was last week confirming fitting for today. No fitters arrived and I find out that the closed down. Answerphone on in the office. Sales person not responding to messages. Website taken down.

done a runner

They appear to have done a runner and folded. It was really nice of them to take a £2000 deposit for a job for me with clearly no intent of even starting. Main phones to answer , mobiles disconnected and website deactivated so they clearly had it planned just to rub salt in . I dare say I am not the only one. Anyone care to bet that a company with a similar name starts up shortly from the same location.

Reliable double glazing Company

We have been regular customers over many years of Supaglazing and decided to have a new window to a shower room installed from the initial deposit to the final installation went reasonably smoothly apart from a detail not observed on the first install but this was quickly remedied and final payment made communication was efficient with the main office and Colin the builder excelled as a company representative 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I don't normally leave Reviews as a lot of people just put lies. But after deciding to have new windows fitted and contacting several companies, Steve from Supaglazing came round and was totally honest and answered all our questions. We went ahead and today was the big day. Lovely helpful fitting team, clean and tidy, but do drink a lot of coffee 😁 The office girls have kept me updated with every step, Lovely friendly team of people. A long standing company who still deliver a first rate product and service. Thank-you Supa.

AVOID - poor quality and damaged my flat.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. I have had lots of work done in my home and thankfully this has been the only negative outcome- but want to warn others.

The salesman was very kind, but I did have to chase quotes, which should have been my warning maybe!

It was all booked in, and on the morning of fitting (I had taken day off work) I was told the fitters were sick and they couldn’t send anyone else until tomorrow. Which was frustrating- but people get sick. It was the lack of apology and laugh when I asked if this was due to the England final the night before. But still. People get sick.

The fitters came the next day and made a complete mess. The house area where the window was fitted was COVERED in dust and debris. They left so quickly and didn’t ask if I was happy etc. just gave keys and left. I was having to work from home and didn’t really click until I went to open the window to see the absolute disaster they made of the window. The frames on each side of the window were different. There was a crack in my ceiling. It didn’t sit straight with the wall and the sealant was dripping around the edges and looked AWFUL.

I called right away and sent photos. Was told they would send someone out to look at it. This took a lot of chasing but finally someone came. This man was the only professional and trusted person from this company. He said it was poorly done and they had used outside sealant inside. Said window wasn’t placed properly. Would need fixing.

Again I had to chase this being organised. Numerous times. Finally told they would come and I took day off work again. Called that morning to double check definitely coming, reassured would be there by 12. Get call at 1pm to say that they had only booked one person and would need to reschedule. I was so cross but needed this window done. Chased again to have this rebooked. And was even spoken to rudely, well we tried to book it on the Tuesday but you were working. I am a midwife and cannot work from home easily!! I was still very polite at this point. And agreed a new date.

They said would be morning, as manager would also be coming. They arrived at 12pm. I booked half day, and now had to work from home that afternoon with noise etc. No apologies from management. They fixed it, and although there is now damage to the ceiling coving.

I had held back £100 and asked for this to be removed from my fee, due to the terrible treatment and missed work. But was told by Tracy if I didn’t pay, they would not send me the guarantee for the window. If I thought the window was put in well, I may have risked it. But I have very little faith.

I was always polite, tea/biscuits, paid on time etc. and I was treated so poorly.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. They offered me the cheapest price, and I now know that sometimes it worth it to pay more.

UPDATE: notice how there are two positive reviews now?! After my honest one.
Look what others giving 1 star have said about staff being forced into leaving fake reviews….hmmm

Haven't lasted like other company's units.

Had complete house done a few years back. Most of the window units have blown. Yes they are out of warranty but older windows keep their seals much longer. Seem to have had a poor batch fitted.
I hope their units are of better quality these days.
Wish I had chosen a different company with hindsight.

100% Recommend

Supaglazing was our 6th and final quote after dealing with some very pushy, unpleasant sales men. From the moment Shane came round our house to give us a quote, we straightaway felt that he was an honest, decent guy who we could trust. We were extremely happy with the reasonable price for replacing all of the windows (17 in total). The fitters (Dave, Dave and Luke) took 4 days in total and from the moment they arrived they were polite, respectful and hardworking. We were so impressed with the speed and skill at which they removed and replaced our windows. The admin staff at Supa glazing were also extremely friendly and helpful and made the whole process seamless. After dealing with 5 other window companies (national and local) I would 100% recommend Supaglazing. Our house has been transformed and we are delighted with the windows.

Excellent service

Excellent service. Competed the 8 windows in 2 days. Less that a week later they came to replaster the wall that had fallen down. After realising 2 windows weren’t level they also came round the same day as the builder to check every window and redo any that weren’t level. Very impressed and would highly recommend
