The company was reliable, upgraded the car we originally got for free, and took care of our transportation to and from the airport. The prices were extremely affordable compared to the other rental companies!

I had a bad experience with them . Please make sure you record the entire car prior to signing and leaving . First , the blue tooth in the car for navigation purposes, is non existent. Apparently, there was a small scratch on one of the side view mirror , they charged me $200 for it . The only thing I hit was dust on the road , it truly ruined the entire experience.

Very helpful and efficient service. Sandra met me at airport to pick up car, hybrid fiat 500 very good for the mountainous roads. I rearranged an earlier drop off to get a ferry to Pico and Sandra kindly dropped me off at the port.

You better not have a problem, because they won’t be of any help. “We’re too busy to read a text or an email. “ we don’t answer phones on weekends. A million excuses. The cars are typical and if everything goes well, your fine with them, got a problem, you’re on your own.

Aruba disappointed

I am deeply frustrated and disappointed with my experience at Sunset Car Rental in Aruba.

It is common practice for local car rental agencies to work in partnership with third-party platforms like Expedia, Priceline, and Travelocity. These partnerships usually involve a "finders fee" agreement between the third party and the car rental companies.

When I arrived at Sunset Car Rental Aruba to pick up the car, I was shocked to discover that they only accepted the insurance portion of our reservation and insisted on charging us again on-site, along with a hefty $500 deposit.

If they are unwilling to honor their agreement with the third-party platform that brings them business, then they should reconsider their entire business model.

This complete lack of fairness towards customers is inexcusable. I am appalled by the way Sunset Car Rental Aruba prioritizes their own financial gain over providing quality service and retaining repeat customers. As a result of this experience, I will never consider using their services again.

It is evident that Sunset Car Rental is more concerned with their bottom line than with ensuring customer satisfaction. This kind of behavior is indicative of their struggling business, and it is truly disheartening.

Humphrey Erasmus was the 1st person we met and he set the tone for our vacation, which was excellent. He recommeneded great place to eat, and he was friendly, and helpful.

Contract explanations were easy to understand. Car was immaculately presented. Staff friendly and all questions were answered. Car return was an easy process. Would use them again.

Kylie could not have been more helpful. She was fantastic to deal with - will deffo be back on my return to Aus.

Sunset rent a car was terrific and the process seamless. We were picked up immediately on our arrival at Sunshine Coast and taken 1 minute away where got car quickly. somewhat easier than having to find car at airport suppliers. The car was spotless and in great nick - loved it - will use again and recommend highly.
