Silently changed my order after payment, then denied the plating I'd already paid for
I ordered 50 custom sterling silver pieces in May 2026 and paid USD 1,300 in full against a written invoice.
After payment, their account manager changed my item without telling me. The 3D geometry was altered to make it heavier, which cut my order from 50 pieces to 11. I only found out once I received the shipment.
About a month later, my own customers reported the pieces oxidising to a blue brown colour. When I raised it, the account manager admitted outright that the pieces had not been rhodium plated, despite the invoice specifying plating on all pieces. Their response was to ask me to collect the defective pieces back from my customers and ship them to China for replating, at my cost, with no acknowledgement that the mistake was theirs.
After three months of being unable to get a straight answer, I finally reached the owner, Lino, by phone. He didn't take it seriously and was dismissive about the impact on my business, my customers' trust, and the time and money I'd already lost.
Neither the design change nor the missing plating was ever disclosed to me. I don't think this was a deliberate scam. I think it was a mistake that got mishandled, then defended instead of fixed. Either way it cost me USD 1,000 in undelivered product, on top of refunding and replacing what I had delivered.
Their website also displays ISO 9001, ISO 14001, BSCI, and Higg Index badges. I'd recommend verifying these independently before ordering. I didn't, and can't confirm any of them apply to what was actually shipped to me.
