Great service at Wolverhampton

I test drove an evoque with Rachel Pitt at Wolverhampton. She was friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with! I bought the car I test drove and four months later I am still really happy with it. I loved the showroom and felt treated with offers of drink and food and everyone was really helpful and friendly.

A pleasure to do business with

I would like to congratulate Stratstone Jaguar Wolverhampton and in particular Rachel on the purchase of my used E Pace which has been dealt with as easily, efficiently & quickly as possible. Having purchased a number of vehicles over time from other dealers I have become rather sceptical about the service I will receive from the sales teams, I must admit I was not looking forward to enquiring about a car I had seen online at the Wolverhampton show room.
The receptionist was very welcoming and I was lead to Rachel to discuss the vehicle I had seen. The Manager of the Used section also introduced himself and we had a very friendly chat for some time, I did not feel pressured at any point which for a sales manager myself was a very pleasant experience.
An agreement was met which ticked the right box's so we agreed to the purchase of the vehicle.
The collection of the vehicle was a problem as I am limited on time during the week and the only day I could manage was Tuesday Rachel's day off. She advised she would come in to hand over and would not take no for an answer. I have also in the short time between purchase and collection arranged the financial service with the dealership and again received very friendly and efficient service.
On the day of collection Rachel was again excellent and could not do anymore to help and did not rush me in anyway.

Thank you also for the lovely gift of wine for my wife which is the only problem I had all day as when I picked it up by the handle at home the handle broke and all 3 bottles smashed luckily on ground not in car all my fault.

Sorry for the long review but I do believe in recognition for a job well done as we normally only hear the negatives as opposed to the positives, Rachel and the other members of staff I dealt with are a credit to your company.

Warranty fault not fixed

I purchased a used-approved Land Rover Discovery from Stratstone Wolverhampton near the start of 2024. I was slightly surprised to find that around Jun-Jul this year it then needed a full service (that I would need to pay for). In any case, the amber engine warning light had come on (which would be covered by the warranty) so I booked it in for the full service and to have the engine warning fixed.

On 16-Aug the work was done. I was told that a 'software update' had cured the warning light. Before I had even driven the vehicle out of the showroom the light was back on, and I was told that it would have to be booked in again.

I am deeply frustrated that my money (in excess of £600) is taken for work that needs to be paid for, yet warranty work remains outstanding.
