One of the things that makes or breaks any shopping experience for me is the ability to just browse unhindered. This is especially important when items are 'big ticket'!
On the day we visited we purchased a wardrobe and bed and mattress.
When we had questions, we sought out Carl, who could not have been more helpful.
When we were ready to purchase it was Carl again who took us through the process.
Could not recommend them more.

Good value but potential long lead time of up to 20 weeks. Store was busy but few staff coped well. Carl Sixsmith offered excellent service.

The Chester store stocks an excellent range of quality furniture at competitive prices. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable and allow you to browse at leisure until you are ready ro seek their advice. We recently placed an order with Joe Tudor and are grateful to him for his excellent customer service.

Good range of furniture in a relaxed, no-pressure environment. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout. From the moment we walked in it was a great experience. We had time to take a little walk around the massive showroom and then approached Scott Dupree who expertly guided us through the pros and cons of different corner sofas vs two sofas with a table in the corner. We were able to sit and take time playing with the recliner options and narrow down our choices, browsing the many fabric swatches before getting a price to take away. We visited another company’s showroom and quickly returned to Scott at Stokers as we knew they had the better product and service. Order and finance sorted (Including delivery and set up which is complementary). A spot on job. And we were able to take our dog in with us - she got lots of fuss from the staff and other customers. Can’t wait for the sofas to arrive! We’ve purchased sofas and mattresses from Stokers before and would highly recommend them from previous experience and our visit yesterday. Thank you!

Stokers was highly recommended to us by a friend, so we headed down to chester and we were pleasantly surprised by the variety and quality on offer.
First we were helped out by Nathan, which we had great advice from and then we came to a decision which Joe Tudor, finalised the deal professionally and quickly.
Both were very helpful and friendly indeed.
Very impressed and we are looking forward to enjoying our purchases and will return when we need more stock!

My husband and I went to Visit Ormskirk Market on Saturday.
On the way back to the train station we called in at Stokers, just to browse, we sat down on a GPlan settee and fell in love with it, there was a sale on and the settee seemed good value for money.
We spoke to Tracey the sales assistant, who gave us all the information about the manufacture, the variations it came in and different materials.
She was not a typical sales person pushing you to buy, she was very friendly and knowledgeable,an absolute pleasure to talk to.
We ended up purchasing a three and a two sofa set with powered foot rests, just an impulse buy, but I can’t wait for it to arrive.
