Last-Minute Booking Cancellation by StayVista — Family Vacation Ruined
This has been, without question, one of the worst travel experiences my family has ever had, entirely due to StayVista's gross mismanagement and complete lack of customer care.
I had booked the villa months in advance for 12 family members, and we travelled all the way from Ahmedabad to Lonavala expecting the vacation we had planned. Instead, at midnight on 26 June, while we were already travelling, I received a simple text message stating that my booking had been cancelled because the property owner had decided to stay there instead.
This is absolutely unacceptable.
How can StayVista confirm a booking, take full payment, and then cancel it at the very last moment because the owner suddenly wants the property? This is not an unforeseen emergency—it is a complete failure of your booking and inventory management.
