This man Andy is great! We have had trouble with our pond of Ranchu’s and Andy has given us his precious time and advise. We took his advise to start our pond from scratch and followed the start up process strictly. We had to wait a few weeks but we now have a fantastic pond system with stunning Ranchu’s. We are absolutely delighted and would recommend Star Fisheries to everyone.

He is available on hand if you desperately need his advise. The quality of gold fishes are fantastic! There is a fish there to suit every budget. They are very well packaged and transported.

I recently bought 2 beautiful Bristol Shubunkin from Star Fisheries, and I honestly couldn’t be happier! The quality of the fish is absolutely amazing.. healthy, vibrant, and clearly very well cared for. Andy is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, taking the time to answer all my questions and give great advice.

The variety they have is unbelievable too — so many stunning fish to choose from! You can really tell they’re passionate about what they do. The whole experience was a pleasure from start to finish.

If you’re looking for top-quality fish and brilliant customer service, I can’t recommend Star Fisheries enough! They really are the best around and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!!

The best fancy goldfish retailer in the UK! I purchased 4 fish, all healthy and in excellent condition. Andy supplied an alternative to one of the fish and it was a fantastic specimen of very high quality. If you’re in the market for gold fish just make sure you get them from here.

I have been wanting to purchase a Veiltail goldfish to add to my fancy collection. I’ve not been able to find them anywhere local to me. So after searching online, I came across Star Fisheries and enquired about their Veiltails. Andy responded to my email extremely quickly and answered all my questions thoroughly. He was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the whole experience.
I was slightly skeptical about having a fish delivered all the way from Kent to Manchester. However the fish arrived today and is in absolutely pristine condition, didn’t seem fazed by the journey at all. She is also absolutely beautiful and has settled into her new aquarium perfectly.

I will be ordering many more Fancy’s from Andy in the future.

Andy has been really helpful throughout my first ever purchase from star fisheries. I ordered two butterfly telescopes and they came in all healthy when delivered. Absolutely love this place, ordered my third order last week to arrive for today, Andy contacted me a couple of days ago to kindly let me know that one of the babies I ordered were not ready to leave yet which I think is lovely that he doesn't risk the wellbeing of the fish, he offerd the choice of two different replacements or a refund and he sent me the most beautiful little fish in its place, I'm so thrilled with the beauty of his pattern and I can't wait to see him grow, I ordered a baby KAI ranchu too because I love watching the colour changes and stages of baby fish and I'm excited to see what colour he becomes , I ordered 4 fish in total and I'm extremely pleased with the liveliness and health and the top grade of all of them, I would recommended 5star fisheries to anyone and everyone

I’ve been so worried to order a fish online as I’ve never done it before, but this place is amazing. Run by a husband and wife duo who were very helpful, spoke to them on the phone asked for a certain style of fish and I got two lion heads which were a lot bigger then I expected and great price. Both stunning and AA grade the quality of colour and patterns better then any I’ve seen in stores. I can’t wait to use them again. If it’s fancy goldfish you want no where else to go and it’s nice they have videos on YouTube which shows where the fish come from which is very reassuring as they live in massive ponds

I have been ordering Ranchu and Oranda baby goldfish from Star Fisheries, their fish quality has always been very good even when I order their "Standard" grade, the fish come healthy and looking good, sometimes when there is short of standard grade fish in their pond, they always send me the quality ones. they provide great customer services and fish stock I recommend them to all fish keeper who is looking to purchase new fish.

First class service from Andy and the team. When one fish developed a problem that could not have been forseen, it was resolved to my complete satisfaction. A measure of any business is how they respond when a problem arises, and in this respect I cannot fault Star Fisheries. Buying fish online is always such a lottery, not anymore with Star Fisheries. I have been a customer for many years now after finding them by chance after my local stockist closed down.
I do travel for my fish I find If you want the best it has to be done but not with Andy a quick email and you’re soon immersed in a world of fishy wonderfulness surrounded by knowledge and experience.
This chap really knows his business and I have been lucky enough to get some absolute crackers.
I remember my first visit to his old fishery, greeted at an old garage door by a very polite young lady, I don’t mind admitting I walked in and thought hay ho it was worth a look. We were directed up some old wooden stairs and again first impressions I wasn’t expecting much however, I got to the top of the stairs and I captured my first glimpse of his amazing working world. It was amazing like being a child again on Christmas morning.
I think my partner just saw my eyes light up and she too was amazed.

Since then Andy is my go to guy for fish regardless of budget he always finds something that will please you.

A quick email to discuss requirements and what you are looking for and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Delivery is an option and again I was pessimistic the first time but again he has a courier that really does the business.

Honestly if you’re looking at fancy goldfish this is the place for you. His open days are incredible and really worth a visit.

I visited Starfisheries last week. It was personalized, I was given all the time I needed to check. Andy was helpful and nothing was to much trouble, taking the fish out for me to check, discussing the different options. I purchased 3 Orandas of exceptional quality. Well balanced fish, beautiful wen, rounded bodies, perfect butterfly tales and excellent swimming. I had to wait 7 weeks for my appointment but it was worth the wait.
