I took my 2 yr old suv car to star car wash-airport west. For a deluxe detail. They insisted on having the car for 7 hrs and it was saturated and took four days to dry, even with the windows open constantly . They also flooded the front passenger seat and now the sensor won’t stop beeping, even though it’s dry. After day 1 drying, it started to smell so bad in the boot. They utilised so much soap, that the suede chairs had a soap shine to them. They didn’t have even try to resolve my concerns when I raised them.
I engaged with star airport west 3 years ago, and were great.But believe they have different manager now.

This was the 2nd time I used this carwash, I thought I would give them another chance, but unfortunately they were the same shit as the first time. What a rip off, so much money for a quick wash that they do. My rims were still dirty, my windows were not sparkling and I don't know what they use but it is sticky. NEVER AGAIN. TOO MUCH MONEY FOR NO SERVICE. They are underground so you cant see what they have done until you're outside. Just daylight robbery, there's others around, NEVER paying them again.

When I brought attention to the bugs still on the front of the car the initially response was they were dents. After I rubbed a couple off I was then told the $57 platinum clean did include cleaning off the bugs. No mention of this before hand, although I see now it's noted on the website. Had to ask for grease marks to be removed and windows still not fully clean. Only 1 star because I couldn't give no stars.

Took my car to the Hornsby outlet and was told by rude staff that I needed to pay extra to clean the wheels (brake dust). Explained that at their St Ives branch or any other car wash, this had never been raised. The dude was dismissive and absolutely disconnected. Anyways, took the car and upon return, the wheels looked just hosed than washed. Reluctantly took the car back home and to my shock and horror found out that the dude had taken a chunk off my wheel against the kerb. Ignorance is obviously a bliss. Hope KARMA gets you. Never again. People, please do a walk-around b4 parting with your car. Dishonest bunch.

Booked car for a platinum wash at Warringah Mall Level 1, booking no issue was done through the website. Got to the car wash and they said that a platinum wash could not remove the black residue and it would require a polish. I said a wash was fine and understood if they couldn't get it all off. I wet my finger and was able to remove the black residue on the roof (car had been sitting for awhile without use). I got back to the office and had a missed call, called them back and they said they would not wash the car because it was too dirty and needed a polish and the door frames were way to dirty and its going to cost an extra $45. Reluctantly we said yes ok as the car needed washing. 4 hours passed and I had not heard anything so called them back. They said the car had been ready for ages and I should have got a text message, which we did not receive. Meaning the car was now in the car park for over 4 hours and we would need to pay for parking. They did do a good job on the car, that isnt my issue. It is the communication and the pushy like behaviour and being told they werent going to wash it because it was too dirty unless we booked a polish!! I asked them on pickup to email the additional invoice to me which they said they had. I have now sent two messages requesting the invoice to which I have not had a response!

I’ve been using Star Car Wash at Robina for some time, but my recent experience has left me questioning whether I’ll return.
When I arrived for my booking, the staff member Nateev was notably unfriendly from the outset. He seemed disappointed that I had turned up and immediately asked how I made the booking. When I said it was done online, he appeared to scroll through his phone, seemingly struggling to locate it.
After inspecting my vehicle, Nateev asked when I wanted the car back. I replied, “1.5 hours,” as indicated on the website. He abruptly told me that wasn’t possible due to how busy they were on weekends and said it would be 2 hours instead. I accepted that, although the tone of the interaction was far from welcoming.
He then pointed out some bugs on my windscreen and told me that this should have been booked under a different package online. I found this baffling — bugs from everyday driving should surely be covered under a regular wash. I mentioned that his tone and attitude made it feel like they didn’t really want my business. He responded by saying the website doesn’t list the packages correctly. But that raises the question — why is that the customer’s problem?
I’ve booked the same wash numerous times without issue, and yet this time, the experience was frustrating and unprofessional. If the website is misleading, that’s something the business should fix, not pass on as a burden to the customer.
Unfortunately, the interaction with Nateev has left a poor impression. Perhaps he’s better suited to a non-customer-facing role. In any case, I’ll be taking my three cars elsewhere for future washes.

Paid for full detail which includes a "Clay bar treatment to remove surface containments" "liquid wax polish". Car paint had smears all over it and surface marks that had clearly not received any "clay bar treatment", floor mats were put in the boot (very wet), excessive amounts of vinyl dressing on the steering wheel and every other internal surface including the floor. At best I would say it had been washed and vacuumed and the vinyl surfaces treated. Certainly not a full detail.

Star car wash Southpoint ACT was the worst car detail ever. Where do I start, damaged door trim, inside of rear screen not cleaned, mags still dirty. Polish cream not cleaned off plastic trims, and the list goes on.
Do not go to this outlet, they don’t give a shit. Very poor customer service and dismissive attitude which show in the poor workmanship.

Last year my husband purchased me a gift voucher for a full car detail for $359. I booked this online so received a discount making the service $324 and was told the $25 balance would remain on the voucher. Today I purchased a $60 platinum car was and was advised that gift vouchers are single use only so I would not have any balance available to me. I believe this to be highly unethical practice and will not be using Star Car Wash again

Terrible Cleaning & Rude Staff - First I was charged an additional $35 cleaning fee for sand on a floor mat that could be shaken off. It was not excessive but because Cockburn Star Car Wash was cheaper than were I normally took it I understand that this was a scam, the price was the same it was just marketed differently. But the worst part is the display on my dash is now speckled with spots that won't come off, I went straight back only to be told I wouldn't have seen them before because my car was dusty! I regularly clean my car - no one that has driven my car has seen these spots before. When I said no, they were not there before, he says Oh that is because your car is old. It is six years old and suddenly has what - age spots! Add to this dirty spots on the exterior, streaky windows and an overall unsatisfactory clean... being made to wait when my car was clearly ready, and then being treat like a fool. Never again will I go there, my next step is my insurance company they can fight with Star Car Wash Cockburn to pay for the repair of my car!!

Star car wash at Morayfield qld. Customer service was appalling. Booked online and when I got there they told me my car was too dirty and they wanted to charge me an extra $40! Didn't clean cup holders or doors. Very disappointing.

You get what you pay for, went to Star Wash at Miranda and honestly gave them a chance despite the reviews. But after the car wasn't washed properly and the inside of the car wasn't vacuumed and cleaned, really disappointed.

I've been twice to Star Car Wash Kellyville, once for a detail and the second time just an exterior wash. Both times I have been very happy with their work. It is an older car but they have it sparkling when I go to collect it. Happy customer here! :-)

Severely overcharged!
Boy, they saw my wife coming.
$300 for a full detail that she didn’t even need.
The car was already pretty clean as I’d washed and cleaned interior a couple of days prior. There were just a few black marked on the right side I couldn’t get off with the cloth. It’s a gov car we had to hand back, so had to get another quick detail. My wife talked to the guy (while I was getting out of the car and looking for my keys) about detailing, and he quietly got her to agree to the FULL detail that we clearly didn’t need. When we got home and she told me the cost, I was very surprised!
Then when we picked it up, they hadn’t bothered to get all the black marks off! I went round the car and was able to even scratch some of them off with my fingernail, which tells me they just didn’t put any effort into trying. A worker came over and made a another phantom attempt at it, which I appreciated, if nothing else, for the acknowledgment.

Booked a Platinum service online at Rosehill for today (24/8/24)
First thing they did without even saying hello was open the car door and examine the interior with a LED torch, lifting up the floor mats. Claimed like others have commented that he "found sand" and the small patch of dirt on the boot was "road tar". Licked my finger and ran it through it to show him it wasn't! Would not do the clean unless I paid a lot of extras. Upselling is big for them obviously. Said as I booked online, I would have to cancel that way.
Problem is that the online booking system wouldn't let me change my or cancel my booking as it was around the time when my should be being washed. Looks like I've lost my $$$
