Ordered the Norton Premium with…

Ordered the Norton Premium with Utilities Ultimate Antivirus on Boxing day special. Price was good, everything went through Paypal and the cost show up in my credit card. But after that no contact from Staples or any other information. Is the order cancelled or went through? Leaving the customer in limbo is very poor customer service for a retailer. Now I will have to file a dispute with Paypal, what a pain. Do I go ahead and buy from somewhere else or wait.

I am 71 year old senior

I am 71 year old senior, I purchased an iPad cover through Staples Canada to be delivered to Regina East store for pick up. I cannot get to the store but my wife can pick it up. I have requested two times if that is possible if I give her the credit card, assigned note from me to the store and my passport to verify my signature if she could pick it up, they said no that is the worst customer service and Unreasonable policy I have ever experienced and it’s winter time traveling right now along with 40 minute one-way drive to the city and my wife goes in every day and she isn’t allowed to pick it up for me. Ridiculous.! BNA in Edgeley sk.

Horrific shipping

Horrific shipping. I selected ship to store because I had just moved and my billing address wasn't my address anymore. I thought that the package would be safe at the store and I would just go pick it up, that's the choice I made when I ordered. They shipped to my billing address and I can't get the package from the post office because my address doesn't match on my ID. They also never updated the shipping info and it still says "shipped" but not yet "in transit", so I only found out that it had been shipped to the wrong place because I contacted the Staples live chat.
I'm livid. I can't get the items I paid for because they shipped to the wrong place.

Blown away by the amazing service at…

Blown away by the amazing service at the North London Staples near masonville.
The manager Travis...Wow, he is so positive, so friendly and seems like an amazing manager for the staff there. Alexander at the Amazon return desk was also VERY effective. There was a huge lineup but you could tell he was doihis best with the amount of returns

Poor customer service

We went to the staples store in simcoe and once again had a horrendous experience unhelpful and no care attitude of these young employees who don’t have a clue what customer service is all about never going there again

website from 1992

I don't understand why in 2025 the website is so old and jenky. The interface is super outdated, the whole site is difficult to navigate. If you create an account and choose a specific location as your "store" it keeps reverting back to a different store. I ordered something for pickup and it charged me express delivery. I tried reaching someone ( by calling the number for "questions about your order" in my confirmation email, they said I had the wrong department and could not help. They told me to go to the website to look for the number - a number i have already tried and got no answer. . It's all just a big giant mess. Good lord.

Made an order for medical face masks…

Made an order for medical face masks for my kids.( I have terminal cancer so it keeps me safe from colds etc) Staples was one of the few places with stock. 2 day delivery according to their huge ADS. A week goes by and no delivery without any contact other then the initial acceptance email. Look up my order and it had been cancelled. No explanation, no contact of any type just cancelled. Not impressed!

Bought a new samsung phone at staples…

Bought a new samsung phone at staples on Nov 2 2025. Asked if they could help me set it up. No way unless I financed it. I spent $500 for a phone on sale that they tried to charge me full price. Got that figured out and when I asked if I should throw my old phone out was told sure they could do that for me. Thank god I kept it as I had to transfer all my contacts and stuff from me old phone and needed it to be beside my new phone. No help or knowledgeable feedback. No customer service what so ever. I purchased a phone 4 years ago at best buy and they did everything for me while I waited and it was on sale as well. They proved they want your business. Staples could not have cared less. I have spent many hours setting up my new phone and googling everything that has helped me. I am a senior and not the most techy to do this. No customer service at Staples unless you finance. What crap. I will never purchase anything from them again. This was the Owen Sound Staples and going forward it will be Best Buy for me. Apparantly they want business not Staples.

The most incompetent retailer I have…

The most incompetent retailer I have ever come across.

I ordered two items online. I received barebones information by email about the delivery. Turns out one of the packages needs a signature. I'm not home, so I ask for it to be taken to the local store, where I can pick it up and sign. They refuse. They hold my package hostage and tell me it will be delivered the next day at the same time. The next day, they don't show up all morning and then respond, "Well, it's actually between 8 am and 8 pm. And someone will need to sign, and if you don't like it, you can ask for it to be returned to the warehouse for a refund." And when asked why the package couldn't have been delivered to a local store yesterday, nothing but silence. No wonder these Canadian retailers are going out of business.

Terrible Shipping

The stores are decent, but never order online for delivery. Their website touts next day delivery on just about everything. Upon ordering, I am always given a delivery date for the next day.
Well, it seems to take then at least a week to ship most items and another several days for delivery. The tracking options are virtually non existent. Stick to Amazon if you need anything fast.

I ordered a single laminated poster from them two weeks ago and haven't heard a peep about it. The order was supposed to be ready in 3-5 business days. I'm honestly wondering if I will ever get that poster.

DO NOT USE STAPLES FOR AMAZON RETURNS! NOT ONLY AM I OUT THE ITEM I BOUGHT, AS I RETURNED IT THROUGH STAPLES, BUT AMAZON CHARGED BACK MY CARD AS THEY NEVER RECEIVED THE ITEM. NO HELP FROM STAPLES!!! THEY SEND ME TO AMAZON AND THAT ISN'T HELPFUL.

Staples on-line never has nothing in…

Staples on-line never has nothing in stock and you don’t know until you go to checkout. As well, there are now minimum amounts you have to buy. I don’t need 3 lunch bags. I’ll shop somewhere else. Used to love Staples but they are not the same anymore.

Stay away from store 217 Brampton

Avoid this store at all costs, employee hit on me, said he loved my eyes, I looked like I took care of myself, wanted to know what I like to do in my spare time, do I have any pets. I was at store 217 October 15, very bad experience. clerk messed up my printing request, wanted double sided he gave me single sided, did not bother to help, he left me and never came back. I had to mail everything and I paid double postage, not impressed. He was also very pushy, said he could save me money on internet at the end I would of saved 10$ a month, I cancelled everything. Was given no receipt just sorry and he walked away. Head office just said sorry, no reimbursement for expenses I have incurred because of this guys actions.
