Written by the company

Suicide Prevention UK (SPUK) is a volunteer-led charity working across the United Kingdom to save lives and provide hope to those in crisis. Our dedicated call handlers and patrol teams operate on the frontline of mental health, offering immediate support to people experiencing suicidal thoughts, distress, or overwhelming difficulties. We are unique because we do not wait for people to reach out to us — we actively patrol high-risk locations, ready to step in and offer support to anyone who may be struggling. Alongside our patrols, our national helpline provides a safe, confidential space for callers to talk openly about their feelings, connect with a trained volunteer, and receive compassion without judgement. Every member of our team plays a vital role, from those answering calls to volunteers on the ground. We are committed to creating a safer, more supportive community where nobody feels alone in their darkest moments. Suicide Prevention UK receives no guaranteed government funding, which means we rely entirely on donations, fundraisers, and the generosity of the public to continue our life-saving work. With your support, we can expand our services, train more volunteers, and reach even more people in need. Together, we can save lives.

Sam saved my life

Talked me down from ending my life multiple times. I spoke to Sam, he was so helpful. Signposted me to more help for when the helpline is shut which has been a lifesaver. Can’t believe this charity relies on donations! I’ve set one up monthly to help them out. Truly appreciate you all, you are angels on earth.

Thank you Sam, and to everyone at SPUK for saving my life.

Reply from Suicide Prevention UK

Hi Helen,
It looks like this review may have been left on the wrong profile. We are Suicide Prevention UK, a registered charity focused on supporting people in crisis — we do not sell or deliver goods, and we are not connected to any companies using the names CSP or DUK.

We’d recommend double-checking the company name so your feedback reaches the correct organisation.

Kind regards,
The Suicide Prevention UK Team

“Support worker” shouted at me

“Support worker” shouted at me, swore at me and was generally abusive and uncaring. Manager - Sam - said she would look into this yet I’m still waiting. Appalling service that needs taking down

No good

Another sham of a helpline which is of no help . Talk at people in a stupid and condescending manner and delude themselves in their false sense of position-
