I find the offers not bad value for money. The range is quite good and overall for a sport shop in Germany it is not bad. Has all the basics with some good offers on the way!

I bought a pair of shoes from their Munich Branch. They were an Under Armour shoes of 120€ and they didn't even last 6 months. After 6 months the back of the shoes starting wearing off and the shoes starting giving me shoe bites.
But the worst part started now, I went to their Sportscheck Branch in Magdeburg but they told me I have to go to Munich Branch to get the claim. As I live far from Munich I went after 2-3 months and in Munich they told me the garantee on shoes is only 6 months. But I showed them that sportscheck offer 2 years but they did not help me.
The online service told me it is the branch's problem and not their.
So,if you do not want to get into problem please do not buy from Sportscheck. They just want you to buy expensive stuff and when you have problem they will never help you.

Yet again I'm trying to enter the run in Dresden on Sept 24th and yet again the website fails to work properly meaning I'm unable to enter. I enter my personal details and click on pay now expecting to enter my credit card number and nothing happens. I've ran this event now for 3 years and this happens every year. The event is actually really good when you get there but this is so painful to actually enter, I'm only actually bothering because I've now booked flights to Germany. Again as per last year I've mailed the helpdesk and AGAIN my emails are being ignored. I just won't bother next year. Dreadful customer service

We first went to a Sportscheck outlet to try on some running shoes. Despite the shop being really busy, the assistants helped all customers in a polite, friendly manner and gave their best advise to everyone who needed it.
We were given great advise on which shoes to buy and were impressed by the knowledge of the employees.
Unfortunately the shoes I wanted weren't available in my size so the assistant immediately put an order in for me online. I received my shoes 4 days later. They ended up being too big, which was a mistake that I made by giving them the wrong size.
I proceeded to log a return request, received feedback within 24h and returned the shoes which got back to the warehouse within 2 days. Another 2 days later, I received the correct size and so far am very happy with the purchase.
I was kept informed of the deliveries and the return all the way and new exactly where in the process my order was. The updates, quick feedback and assistance (at the outlet and online) was very satisfying.
Our second visit to the outlet was unfortunately fairly poor. The floor assistant was quite unwilling to help, left whilst we were mid-sentence to check something else, and then the woman at the register was also quite annoyed by our overall presence.
Hopefully our first experience is the norm and today was out of the ordinary...
I tried ordering from sportscheck an item with a seemingly good price. There is a 20% discount code and the site says: Vouchers can be redeemed in order step “3. Check & Order”. On step two, I need to provide my payment details and before going to step 3 I receive an SMS from my bank with a code for payment verification. This means, there is no possibility to enter the 20% discount code on step 3, so you pay full price. Bad practice sportscheck.

The address on the package was wrong, so it never arrived. I ordered the same product again, and having some questions about that had the unfortune to talk to an EXTREMELY rude customer support, who first said he is not allowed to speak English (ok, fair enough, but I was not going to ask for medical or legal advice here...), and when I made an effort to ask the question with my slow beginner German speaking skills, the guy got super frustrated and basically interrupted the call by deciding to end it and hang up on me.

They charged a different price at the box office than the one indicated on the goods. Subsequent communication zero.

I bought sports shoes "Laufschuh Cloud" from "On" brand in "SportsCheck" shop in Stuttgart on 5th July 2021. After about 2 months they have started to unglue on both shoes. Part which was unglued was non big, but I assume that it would probably increase over next a few months. Aside from this flaw, some sort of whitish line formed on some edges that I couldn’t wash off. I did not want to glue myself, as I suppose it would invalidate the guarantee. I have also taken pictures with unglued parts and sent them to "SportsCheck" service . In the shop they have tried to convince me that it is more estetical issue, but that shoes are functionally still good. They said that they can send them to the producer to check if there is a defect in the material. They say it may last 4-6 weeks. For me it was not clear why clients have to wait so long. I think that it is not fair towards the clients. In the end it took 3 weeks. They did not accept reclamation and returned shoes to the shop. They did not give any explanation. They did not give a replacement nor voucher. They did not at least repair shoes.
ANSWER:
Hello SportsCheck Team,
It is also your responsibility as you make deal with manufacture and you make profit. It is not fair for customers to wait until 6 weeks. It is under your jurisdiction to not make such deal as they are not fair towards customers. So far in my experience in the last years in Germany, in other shops when there was defect in product, I use to get cash returned. In one case I got replacement.
In "SportsCheck" shop I was informed that manufacture will prove if it is defect of material. If part on both shoes is unglued on exactly same way, it must be defect of material. Also whitish lines on some edges could be from glue coming out or something else. I could not wash it out. Manufacture should give explanation. If they do not provide voucher or replacement, they should at least glue it and clean not washable lines and give some guarantee that it will not happen again.
If they do not do it, it's not fair. In such case, it is your responsibility to complain to them and compensate customers.
I found also review of another customer in which sole of shoes was broken in six month. And answer was that it is due to usage. In this way manufacture and seller could always argue that from usage. They would like never to pay compensation for low quality of materials fabricated with cheap labor in Asia. And customers would not do be able to do nothing.
Otherwise what is of use to advertise 2 years of such guarantee? It's not honest guarantee.
One of the main reason I use to buy in shop, instead on-line where prices are usually lower, is to have more secure guarantee. If shop can't provide guarantee or tries to avoid like putting blame on manufacture, it would be hard to find another solid reason why to buy from them.

Order process was a catastrophe – paid with Paypal, money was subtracted from my account, however I did not get an order confirmation and Sportscheck claimed no payment has been made. Had to send them a screenshot from my Paypal to prove they stole my money. Asked to cancel the order via phone and mail but was told it can't be cancelled. Then took 4 days to be shipped when it claimed 1-2 days delivery time. Took another week to arrive with me. I returned the order since I already ordered the article from another store in the meantime (which arrived one week ealier than their order albeit being shipped from another country…). Return took another 8 days with their retun label. Now called and asked when I'll get my money back and was told it's going to take another two weeks. Which means they basically stole my money for about 5 weeks. HARD AVOID.

They never sent me a receipt for my online order. First they said they cancelled it because of billing issues - but they sent it anyway and still charged me.
Not possible to return in store with only my order number which is all they gave me. Online return process requires another number - Customer number - which is only on the receipt which I never received. Still trying to get it from them.
Trash company.

I had a terrible experience with this e-commerce website. After having bought a pair of hiking shoes on their website, I haven't received any confirmation of my purchase and the shoes were never delivered to my address. I then asked for more information about my order and the unfriendly customer service gave me a wrong code to pick up the parcel at the post office. Long story short: after a month from my order, I still have to receive the shoes and the parcel apparently got lost. Never again!
