I have been buying products from Spoonflower for years and love the quality. Everything is beautiful and the website is very easy to navigate. I love the design challenges as I am a new surface pattern designer and hope to make the top 100 soon!

The wallpaper is gorgeous. The multiple views for each pattern make choosing/shopping easier, and the variety is phenomenal. I had occasion to consult with the company to make sure that my choice was appropriate for my purpose and received prompt, personal (not AI !) service. Shipping was also great.

I've been working with a few of the young ladies in customer service who've helped me greatly.
I have 16 separate unique patches that were just photos off of a jacket that was custom made. A friend of mine was on a US Navy aircraft carrier on tour many years ago and everywhere they went a patch was custom made for that stop. I wanted those patches each placed on a separate square so I could make a custom quilt.
I just received those printed squares the other day after working several weeks on trying to figure how to upload them correctly and they came out amazing!
I can't say it enough...don't bother trying to do them yourself or finding someone else. Spoonflower 110% is the place to trust your special and regular fabric designs.

Designs are really a quality,I am amazed how beautiful and pure pattern designs are available at spoonflower. Different material quality details are also very specific. Its not like a crowded market flooded with AI designs it's truly pure art. I love it.

I ordered Spoonflower fabric in 1/4"rust/white stripe. They sent me fabric in 1/2" bright orange stripe. (I had already ordered the 1/4" fabric in a half yard to be sure it was right, which it was). I asked to return it since it was not what I ordered and was told no returns; no credit; no nothing. I then asked if they could help me by offering to split the difference, moneywise, since I had no use for orange and white fabric. And after a few rounds of customer service emails, they disappeared. IMO they should have taken back the fabric and refunded my money for their mistake. Obviously, I would never order from that company again.

As a proud Spoonflower artist, I’m grateful for the creative freedom this platform offers. Spoonflower provides an incredible space where artists can truly explore their imagination through a wide range of design types. Their design challenges are one of my favorite parts of the experience as they push me to grow, experiment and connect with a community of fellow creators.
What really stands out is Spoonflower’s commitment to sustainability. Their print-on-demand model reduces waste, and their eco-friendly materials allow me to create responsibly without compromising quality. Spoonflower sets a high standard for custom printing and I’m proud to be part of a platform that values both creativity and quality.
Spoonflower also opens doors for artists. Through the marketplace, I’ve been able to connect with interior designers and I know many artists have even secured licensing deals! Being here allows me to test different styles, learn what resonates with buyers and discover where my niche really lies.
I’m proud to be part of a platform that values creativity, sustainability and quality while empowering artists to grow their careers.

Great platform for designers!
I love that Spoonflower feels active — even if the sales are small, they are steady, unlike on Etsy. I also want to highlight their fast and knowledgeable customer support: they respond quickly and truly help. A very positive experience!

Spoonflower makes uploading designs easy. The products are very good. Prices in CAD $ are bit high though.

My first sign this company would be a problem was the purchasing process. Took me 4 days just to process an order. Then the promotion passed and the order went through. Then the items came on mismatched. We ordered wallpaper and matching curtains. Same style, color, pattern but the wallpaper was blue and curtains were green. When I tried to return them they denied the return. Lost thousands of dollars on this due to wasted materials, paying installers, repainting the room to match the wall paper. Do not waste your time with this company. If you do, be warned and test every single piece.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. This is the first review I have ever left for a product, but my experience with Spoonflower deserves one.
I purchased their grasscloth wallpaper and was shocked by how poorly the pattern was printed. The design does not align between panels at all, making it impossible to install with a clean seam. When I reached out for help, I was told that their wallpapers are meant to be overlapped and double-cut, which is absolutely not a standard or appropriate installation method for grasscloth. Every professional installer I’ve spoken to has said the same thing.
What frustrates me most is that Spoonflower uses the same generic, one-size-fits-all installation instructions for every wallpaper type (peel-and-stick, smooth, woven, grasscloth), even though these materials behave completely differently. Instead of acknowledging the printing inconsistency, they insisted the issue was “normal” and told me to cut through layers of thick, expensive grasscloth to force the pattern to match, essentially gaslighting me into believing this was acceptable.
They refused to offer a reprint, a return, a partial credit, or any type of solution, even though the product arrived misprinted and unusable. For a premium-priced wallpaper, the quality control and customer service were deeply disappointing.
I’m extremely frustrated with the lack of accountability and would not recommend Spoonflower for grasscloth or any wallpaper that requires pattern alignment. If something arrives defective, you’re completely on your own and they will fight you on their outrageous policies. 0/10 absolutely horrible experience and company.

Many of their prints look sloppy and cheap in person and they are tightwads when it comes to discounts. Their customer service is rude. After several orders with them, I'm moving on.

EDIT: Spoonflower credited me for the paper, so I'll give them another shot. I do like the designs and concept of the site, so hopefully they will improve the interface to avoid this kind of problem in the future, For the moment, potential customers should still exercise caution prior to ordering, and probably interact with customer service if there is any doubt about what product precisely matches the samples you ordered. Keep in mind that many options are intended for professional installers in commercial settings, and will be unsuitable for amateur installation on flimsy or rented drywall. In general the sales are final.
Original review: The designs are beautiful, but there is a lousy combination of a bewildering array of poorly labeled options on some products with an inability to simply click "order full roll of this exact thing I ordered a sample of". If you mess up, you are screwed, because there are NO RETURNS, regardless of circumstance, regardless if colors don't match, regardless if they didn't properly label what they were sending you. I tolerated this once before with a duvet cover that arrived washed-out looking and uncomfortable, so shame on me for thinking it would be any better for wallpaper. There are better companies to support; hopefully the independent artists who provide the nice designs will migrate elsewhere.
