Glen Dochus Island blend- none of the deep peaty smoke as promised

Glen Dochus Island blend. Sadly the product is very disappointing. On opening the bottle and taking a sniff there was an unpleasant chemical/petrol twang. Taking a sip, the taste came through the same as the aroma. None of the peaty smoky promise. Reviews from other sites warned of the overwhelming strength of peat and smoke - not liked by some - but the very reason I was attracted to it. I enjoy Laphroaig. If you are a whisky drinker who appreciates a good single malt, looking for a substitute for dry January, or wanting to limit alcohol units - have a nice cup of tea instead!

Floaters in a bottle of Spirits of Virtue, zero rum…

Floaters in a bottle of zero rum queried but not responded to (my emailed queries Jan 2025 about quality of the drink).
Bought via Threshers who also do not respond about quality queries about a 70cl bottle of 0.0% '270deg Botanicals zero alcohol cane spirit'.
It is a £19 bottle which remains unopened and will be binned (as it is time expired as far as I can tell due to the poor date etching on the bottle) due to the delays by Spirits of Virtue & Threshers. Unlikely to buy again from either company.
