Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service. I sent my machine in for repair in November after purchasing a 3D tool, part and extended warranty. 3 months later they still haven’t started the repair. Horrible customer service for a very expensive coffee maker.

If I could give this comany a -1

If I could give this comany a -1, I would. They market a really cool and amazing product. But I wills say buyer beware. Over the last year. Their customer support is horrible. Their product is NOT reliable. I've had my original Spinn for almost 2 years. It has broken down 4 times and it's alwasy been the water pump. By the 3rd break they forced me to purchase an add'l $200 warranty to replace the water pump again after only 4 months. I paid the $200 for the extended warranty and then they told me I would be put on a 6 week waiting list because they don't have the part in stock. They finally repaired it and 3 months later the water pump broke again. Yep as you can imagine it's anther 2 - 3 week waiting period. But the worst part about they customer support is they keep asking me for damn order #. When the DM history is in the app and I can see. Why can't they and why do they KEEP ASKING ME FOR A DAMN ORDER #. Their product sucks. I'm so let down. Because when it works for only those several weeks it's great.

Scam Company

Ordered the Spinn2. It is almost 1 year after the advertised ship date. The company will not respond to questions and will not refund my money. Stay away.

Warning Avoid Spinn at All Costs!

Warning: Spinn Coffee Is a Scam!

I pre-ordered the Spinn Coffee Maker back in April 2024, expecting it to ship by October 2024. Nearly two years later, I still haven’t received a product — only vague “updates” and endless excuses.

When I finally demanded a refund, Spinn refused, claiming that Amazon Pay is withholding the funds, even though Amazon confirmed Spinn was already paid in full. It’s now in small claims court, as I’m trying to recover my $700for a product that was never delivered.

This company has shown a complete lack of transparency and accountability. They lure customers in with pre-order promises, hold your money for years, and then hide behind technicalities to avoid refunds.

Do not buy into this company. They’ve taken advantage of countless customers with fraudulent and deceptive practices. Save yourself the headache — there are plenty of reputable coffee makers out there that actually deliver on their promises.

TitleRepeated Repairs, Poor Support, and No Resolution

Title: Repeated Repairs, Poor Support, and No Resolution

I’ve now gone through two faulty Spinn machines, both of which failed under warranty. Each time I’ve had to send the unit back, wait weeks with no updates, and deal with poor communication and conflicting information from support.

My most recent machine was sent in for repair in May 2025. I received confirmation that it was received—but then heard nothing for weeks despite multiple follow-ups. Only after filing a BBB complaint did I get a response, which simply said they couldn’t start repairs until “sometime in July” due to part delays.

What’s most frustrating is that they cited the part delay before even inspecting the machine, which makes me question whether they know what the issue is—or if they’re just stalling. Their responses feel generic, dismissive, and designed to wear customers down until they give up.

If I had known I’d go through this much hassle—multiple repairs, zero accountability, no loaner or refund—I never would have purchased this machine. The product looks impressive, but the customer experience has been exhausting and deeply disappointing.

Over a Year of Troubles with No Resolution

My mom has owned the Spinn Pro machine for just over a year. While the concept is great, the execution has been incredibly frustrating. The machine clogs nearly every time she switches coffee beans, something that should be simple for a premium product.

We’ve contacted support multiple times, followed all recommended maintenance, used official kits, and even sent the machine in for service. Yet the issue keeps happening. Most recently, support told us there was nothing more they could do, which is unacceptable for a product at this price point.

This feels like a design flaw or a faulty unit, and we’ve been left without a reliable solution. Disappointed by the lack of accountability and support. I would not recommend this machine. You’re better off investing in a quality machine from a reputable brand, even if it’s not automated.

Horrendous in every way

Horrendous in every way. These machines are lemons. Support is horrible and takes place only over chat...which is the equivalent of doing open heart surgery for the first time over chat. Machine is super high maintenance and they want you to keep sending it in for service for $200 every time. STAY AWAY

For a machine that costs $700–$1,000

For a machine that costs $700–$1,000, you'd expect top-tier performance. And to be fair, it mostly delivered for the first two years. It can make a wide range of high-quality coffee drinks, and when it works, it’s impressive.

But there are real issues. The machine frequently throws errors without clear explanations. Sometimes you can reset them—sometimes they come right back. Support typically blames a need for cleaning or descaling, which involves a long cycle that takes about an hour and requires your full attention.

Worse, you often need to manually unclog the spout with a paperclip—yes, really.

Most recently, I couldn’t clear an error no matter how much I cleaned. The company had me order a special tool to take it apart for deeper cleaning. That didn’t work either. They tried remote troubleshooting with no success. Then they told me they’re moving facilities and couldn’t process my RMA for up to 8 weeks. Even after that, it’s a $200 repair fee, and Reddit users say turnaround times often exceed two months—meaning I might be without a machine for 4–6 months.

I paid $800. I shouldn’t need a $200, months-long repair just to make a cup of coffee. As much as I liked this machine at first, I absolutely cannot recommend it.
