Everything was good - Not just the product but - MOST importantly the delivery - the text to tell me actual time is of utmost importance! I can't afford to be waiting in my house for a delivery (even though I am only a volunteer and at 65 - officially 'retired'!)

Light as a feather without any leather
Very comfortable shoes, almost like wearing slippers with a good choice of colours. Look quite good too.

Items appears to have been used before
I brought a Green-I Movement sensor switch for our factory toilets as i was fed up with our employees leaving the light on.
When the unit turned up, i opened the package and found the spacer block was dirty, and the battery had been installed and connected up, i think the battery might be flat now. I have not installed and tested yet.

Good Service and Delivery. Payment rules questionable
Very good web site. Good delivery. Good overall service. BUT I had a separate billing address to my delivery address. You impose a £200 limit for security reasons (no one else does)? Because my order was over £200 I had to split my order, which meant I had to pay £6 delivery charge for the smaller portion. That isn't right, and you should pay me the £6.

Dear Mr. Lanch, thank you for your review. As per our online policy, we deliver ONLY to the Billing Address if the online order is over £200, and we do so for the protection of the customer. It is a risk we cannot take - at least at the moment - that is, to deliver to any other address for orders over £200. But we are working on ways to make this better and more convenient, at the same time minimising online payments fraud.
One way to order on our website and get the items delivered to a different address than the Billing Address is when you pay by bank transfer. Maybe on your next order we can try that, and we are sure you will be happy with it!
Had stock of a rare item, which was supplied very promptly.
Found the items I required on the website, ordered and asked to be dispatched within 2 days as I needed urgently for a job. They were delivered in time and it was great I could track the package online. Item said would be delivered within one hour time slot and it arrived within 5 minutes into this.
Would recommend and would use again. Thank you!

Excellent service
This is great , once you have established what you are after , either by visiting the shop or browsing online, the whole ordering process is pretty straightforward . They also send you notification when your items have arrived and can be collected.

Delighted with the product and service
I ordered polar white spotlights, which arrived really quickly. We were so delighted with the product that we ordered a couple more to go to another room. They arrived the next day, which was fabulous as the electrician was ready to roll to put them up.

More CS less postage fees
Great product, exactly what I wanted but the customer service and excessively high postage cost for an average delivery time let SparksDirect down. You really need to lower those postage costs, £6 for 4 day delivery is pretty poor :(

Thank you for your comment. According to our policy, if the items ordered are in stock and the order is placed before 1pm, the delivery should be made within 1 working day. In your case, you ordered at 3pm on Friday, so the next working day that we processed and sent your order was Monday - you received the items on Tuesday. In other words, it was the next possible day to deliver it (since our courier doesn't deliver on Saturday).
As for the delivery charge, if the customers order over £100 + VAT there is no delivery charge; otherwise, the standard charge is £6 + VAT, which we think it is reasonable.
