This was my first job via SB.
It was everything I'd hoped for!

I’ve had a very positive experience using SoundBetter so far. The platform is great, and I’ve been able to connect with amazing clients and work on high-quality projects.

One thing I do feel is missing, though, is a dedicated mobile app. I believe having an app would make communication and workflow even more efficient.

Overall, I really enjoy using the platform and look forward to continuing working here.

Soundbetter is fantastic!!! I have used it for a number of different mastering engineers for my psychedelic project Aura Blaze and each and every one has exceeded my expectations. They are all super friendly and helpful and have given my songs the best final touch possible. It is such an easy format to get started and to execute a collaborative project of this nature. I love Soundbetter and will be using it for many years to come on future projects!!!

Soundbetter makes working and communicating with clients much easier. For my first job, it went very well, but I've been using the app for a couple of years and this is my first client. I find the subscription options, which offer certain benefits, a bit expensive.

This is such a great format! Would love to be a pro member one day.

Soundbetter gave me opportunities I am deeply thankful for. Their support was there when needed and felt very human which is quite worth something in today's age. Lastly, their conditions are simply less greedy than the competitor's.

In short, Soundbetter really gives you the feeling that they value you as an artist.

Alot of pros with their credentials front and center

I had been working consistently through SoundBetter for quite a while. My profile was well positioned in search results thanks to a very high and fast response rate, repeat clients, and nothing but 5-star reviews with exceptional feedback. On average, I received 3–4 projects per month.

Then, suddenly, the work completely stopped. Nothing changed on my end — same quality, same response time, same client satisfaction, same metrics. Yet my visibility appears to have dropped overnight.

It’s hard not to conclude that the platform is pushing providers toward the paid premium subscription in order to maintain visibility. The frustrating part is that I was already meeting — and exceeding — all the criteria that supposedly determine ranking organically.

If the algorithm prioritizes paid subscriptions over proven performance and client satisfaction, that should be made transparent. As it stands, it feels like strong track records and consistent 5-star service don’t actually guarantee fair exposure unless you pay extra.

Very disappointing experience after what had been a solid working relationship with the platform.

It is my second time working with SoundBetter and what a great service. Connecting producers with singers is the missing link for bringing music projects to reality.

Easy-to-use platform and artists/engineers have full control. This platform also lives up to its name; my songs truly sound better now!

Flowless mix master process using this service

All fine. Only I find the subscription model too expensive. It's all or nothing. I would like more clients but 99 a month is too much
