Keta Dingwalls 28 January, misrepresentation…
I booked for Ketama at Dingwalls on 28 January. Songkick showed a picture of the Spanish Ketama band, the ones I wanted to see.
I clicked on the link, didn't look at the top photo. I just clicked on 'book tickets' .
I paid about £50 for 2 tickets for a rapper called Ketama xxx.
I only found this out when I looked at Djingwalls website. When questioned, the Songkick support team said their developer had put the wrong photo on.
They said I should have looked at the photo on AXS where I booked the tickets.
So essentially Songkick you can put any photo on as an inducement and get away with it? Yes it was innocent misrepresentation but I am £50 worse off.
AXS would not refund me either.
No wonder Songkick youv have just over 1 star.
You also did not give me the name of who I can escalate the complaint to. You did not respond to further emails

Love the app!
Easy to use and track gigs I’m interested in. I especially like the gigography feature so I have a record of all the gigs I’ve attended.
Don't Rely on this App
I had set notifications for all of my favourite artists on Songkick. I was receiving notifications but often I missed out on tickets and just thought oh well, they are a popular artist. One of the people I really wanted to see was CMAT and once again missed out on tickets after being notified by Songkick. I was listening to the radio the other day and heard CMAT had added new dates so I rushed to buy tickets and was successful. No alert from Songkick though - not until TWO DAYS later. So I now realise this is not the app I thought it was. You may not get alerts in a timely manner and so may miss out on tickets if you rely on this app. This is why I wrote the review as I don't want others to miss out as I have been doing.
A nice way to keep track of tour dates
A nice way to keep track of tour dates. But the UI is flawed. For instance, I'm tracking concerts in London and currently 9 of my followed artists are supposed to play there. But there is no (easy) way to get the exact dates for those 9 artists in London. When I click on location "London" I am shown all future concert dates in London. I would expect a filter "show followed artists only" - but I guess that would be too easy to realize?! Also it shows a tour date in London for Steve Vai, but once I click on artist "Steve Vai" it says "no upcoming dates"! Maybe the same developers work there that also work for discogs, it would explain a lot :-/
Songkick showed wrong artist…
I went to a concert that Songkick listed as artist Misha from Finland but was some other Misha. The flyer on the ticket platform didn’t have a picture and so I was not aware that this event was not for Misha from Finland. I’ve emailed Songkick twice and not even received one response
FAKE TIX......I bought tix to a concert that was…
I bought tix to a concert that was listed and it was for the wrong artist. I contacted customer Svc and they refused to resolve the issue and referred me to the venue. The telephone number for the venue never picks up. Big waste of money!!
fake tickets sold to me
purchased tickets to see Masego, sold them and the people could not get in to see Masego because the tickets were fake. I then had to lose money as the people I sold the tickets to, requested a refund. Happened 14.03.2022.
Adds favorite artists that they…
Adds favorite artists that they promote. Spams your email with event notification of artists you don't follow .
Spam basically
Absolutely bombarded with emails about artists I'm not interested in. App deleted.
Doesn’t give gig info about your tracked artists as promised.
I thought this App was going to be the answer to all my prayers. It’s supposed to send you gig info about all your tracked artists on Spotify. But it also sends you a load of artists you don’t follow. Not sure if this is because the App is shyte, or more likely bribe money from artists/record companies in our sadly corrupt music industry. Shame, it could have been brilliant.

I got scammed on your page
I got scammed on your page, company called Wundix-peoria got my credit card number and they are stealing my money every few days, I just tried to buy concert tickets and end up scammed and had to cancel my card. They took 64€ already
I reported to you and DIDN'T GET ANY REPLY! Shame on you, never again shoping on your website! 🤬🤬🤬
Gone downhill I’d say - still promoting scam gigs.
Gone downhill I’d say. I see they are promoting scam Martin Rev gigs again. I’ve complained in the past but they do zip.
An amazing website for song concert geeks
Phenomenal. Keeps me informed with the lastest concerts for my favorite song artists, and gives the option, to do the same, but with more groups, or singers, or artists.
Songkick selling tickets to fake shows…
Songkick selling tickets to fake shows at fake venues
One of my toptracked performers is…
One of my toptracked performers is coming to my city (Adelaide) in October and I found out through a friend days after the show was 'sold out.
According to your app there is still no concert by Morby near me even though the venue is 20 minutes from home. Very poor effort!
Be aware of them
I trusted Songkick and it cost me 110€.
They mix up omonymous bands I could not think that what I see would have been fake, I trusted the company professionalism. Now I lack 110€ of flight tickets and I want them back, from Songkick. They are not answering my email. I have contacted customer rights associations.
EDIT: their answer: "Sorry we're not responsible, talk to the agency that added the concert, we won't refund you, have a nice day".
Zero Customer Support
Its OK if things actually work, but when there is an issue they have zero help. I have submitted 2 requests for the same issue to be resolved & have no replies whatsoever. Its simply no good if some events show on Songkick & not Spotify. They simply don't care.
