My first Solos holiday in Zante was a wonderful experience. The hotel was modest but perfect, especially as we had the place to ourselves.

The beach, shops, and restaurants were all just a short walk away. Our tour leader, Gary Bailey, was exceptional and went out of his way to make sure everyone had a great time.

The people in the group were fantastic, and we are already planning a reunion in the UK.

Thank you to Solos, Gary, and everyone I had the pleasure of meeting on this holiday.

I’ve just returned from a fantastic 4-day trip to Belfast with Solo Holidays, and I couldn’t recommend the experience more highly.

From start to finish, the trip was very well organised, making it easy to relax and enjoy everything Belfast had to offer. The itinerary was excellent, with a great balance between exploring the city and getting out to see some of Northern Ireland’s most famous sights. The Tour Leader managed the trip exceptionally well making sure everyone was enjoying the experience and their expectations were met.

A highlight was the Titanic Belfast experience. It was interesting, informative and well presented, giving an insight into the story of the Titanic and Belfast’s role in shipbuilding history. It was definitely an experience that I’ll remember.

Another major highlight was our visit to the Giant’s Causeway. The scenery was fantastic, and seeing the basalt columns and impressive coastline in person was truly breathtaking. It was a brilliant day out and a highlight of the trip.

What I particularly enjoyed about travelling with Solo Holidays was the opportunity to experience all of this in the company of other like minded people while still having time to enjoy the trip at my own pace. The organisation, itinerary and atmosphere made it a really enjoyable break.

Belfast is a fantastic city, with lots of history, culture, great places to eat and a very welcoming atmosphere. Four days gave us a great introduction to the city and surrounding area, although I could easily have stayed longer.

A big thank you to Solo Holidays for a brilliant trip. The combination of Belfast, Titanic Belfast and the Giant’s Causeway made this a memorable 4-day break, and I will definitely be travelling with Solo Holidays again.

One of best holidays I have ever been on. The tour leader Gary was friendly, helpful and nothing too much bother. Angela Studios were great, own pool and minutes from beach , restaurants and supermarkets. Highlight was fellow travellers, lovely group, we got on so well. Sad to leave at end of week.

Just returned from Zante. Fabulous week with like minded people. Our representative Gary Bailey was exceptional. He ensured we all had a good time, lots of activities, partying, and chilling by the pool. Kelly looks after the hotel and will always go out of her way to help you. To be honest, it's the people and representative who can make a holiday so good. Made lots of new friends and will certainly go back.

Just returned from a fantastic Zante Solos holiday. Special mentions to Kelly, our hotel host, always on hand to help out with anything and also the Solos tour leader/host Gary. He went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time, which we all did. As Kelly, always available if required, made it easy for us all with bookings made and also done some off the cuff events which were an unexpected bonus.

Wow what a holiday, couldn't of asked for a better group of people to share it with, a previous Solos friend mentioned it to me so I booked too, so glad because the laughter and memories made, truly amazing!
And that rep/host bloke Gary.... he was ok lol 😆 ........ he was amazing and made the week special, memories made.

Just back from week at Angela Studios, Alykanas, Zakinthos. Really nice small hotel, lovely pool. Close to fantastic beach and nice restaurants. Special mention to tour leader Gary Bailey. Gary went over and above to make everyone welcome, always there for a chat, he helped make my first solos holiday very special- it won’t be my last!

Just back from my very first Solos holiday in Zakynthos, and I can honestly say it was one of the absolute best holidays I’ve ever had.

If you’re worried about travelling solo, don’t be. The camaraderie and banter with the entire group was second to none from day one—we were all laughing like old friends in no time.

A massive shout-out to Kelly, who prepares and serves breakfast every morning. She is unbelievably accommodating—nothing is ever too much trouble, even when we’re stumbling down half-asleep!

And then there’s Gary, the tour manager—he is the ultimate glue holding the whole operation together. Booking restaurants, organizing excursions, sorting out every little detail… no issue is too small for him. He basically does all the heavy lifting and hard work behind the scenes so that all we have to do is turn up, relax, and enjoy ourselves.

If you're on the fence about booking a Solos trip, just do it. I’ll definitely be back for another!

Had an amazing holiday in Zante with Gary. Made friends for Life, ate amazing food and got a tan. Gary really looked after us and I'd definitely book again. Thank you, solos.

Just returned from another great holiday with Solos (Zakynthos 02.08.26).
The solos exclusive hotel (Angela studios) was v good, with a good size pool. Beach, shops and restaurants are a short walk from the hotel.
Our tour leader, Gary Bailey, was exceptional; friendly and v helpful, always making sure we had the best time. And we all did!
Met many amazing people and we are already planning a reunion in the UK.

Just returned from a lovely week in Zante and had the best time. Angela Studios are a perfect base for the holiday and our amazing tour leader Mark Atherton ensured we all had a great time. Nothing was too much trouble for him to arrange and we all appreciated it so much. Have booked again for next year!

Just returned from a 2week trip to Zante.
I had a brilliant time at the Angela studios and everything was so well organised and fun. This was due to our wonderful Tour Leader, Mark Atherton, going over and above for everyone
Nothing was too much trouble for Mark. There were several new guests including one lady who was really nervous but he went out of his way to settle her nerves and ensure she was looked after. I have been on several of Marks holidays and everyone of them has been fun. His organisational skills are second to none as he tries to accommodate the needs of all the guests. He is fun, professional and polite as were all of the staff at this lovely, friendly hotel. It is a Solos exclusive holiday so we had our own private hotel and pool. I thoroughly recommend Solos holidays and in particular Mark Atherton as our Tour Leader.

Just back from a fantastic trip to Zakynthos, what a beautiful place. The location of the hotel is perfect, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Our tour guide Mark A, was brilliant. He was so friendly and helpful and made the holiday an absolute pleasure. I definitely would recommend this trip. Thank you so much Mark.

The whole process from start
To finish is easy. This is my second solos trip and I have already booked two more.

The Angela studios in Zakinthos has a very relaxed vibe, great swimming pool and Kelly was a fabulous hostess.

The mix of solos were great some first timers and other seasoned travellers. Both weeks were fantastic.

The true magic came from our tour leader Mark Atherton, what a guy. He went out of his way to fully include all guests, he arranged travel, had a great sense of humour and absolutely nothing was too much trouble for even, even the guests who were quite demanding. He was professional, kind, caring and compassionate. He was very well organised, being a solo traveller does not mean you are alone, you can participate if you want or you can sit out. It’s important to note that we are all on holiday to relax, enjoy company and to have a good laugh, we are not here to be carers for other people, however our group went out of their way to be completely inclusive, Mark being the absolute special sauce, he’s an absolutely credit to the solos name, the holiday wouldn’t have been the same without him. Highly recommended, thank you Mark and thank you solos for such an amazing time

Just finished a fantastic holiday with solos in Zakinthos. Great location near beach and the rep, Mark A was amazing. He went far above the call of duty with a guest who had limited mobility. He was always on time and helpful in every situation. I would return.

Just returned from a lovely holiday at the Angela Studios in Zakynthos with Solos. I have travelled with Solos on numerous occasions and have never been disappointed. The apartments were clean and very well located being just a short walk from the beach and had a relaxing quiet pool area. Kelly was on hand every morning to provide us with breakfast and we ate out at nearby tavernas each evening. It was a great crowd and we had a lot of laughs.
Tour leaders Gary Haskins and Mark Atherton were both excellent at arranging meals, trips, evening entertainment and just generally making sure we were happy. A good tour leader is what makes Solos stand out in my opinion and really enhances the holiday. The reservations staff also deserve a mention for their helpfulness and patience when booking ...I have already booked my next one....

Fabulous group of people with an excellent rep who went out of his way to include us all. The only thing that lets solos down is the accommodation which is sometimes less than basic and some rooms really do need an update as it certainly isn’t a cheap holiday

My first solo holiday. Unfortunately, the start of the holiday was spoilt with a change of flight. This meant that I had to have an overnight stay in a hotel because the check-in was in the early hours of the morning. I did not book this holiday with this early start on complaining I was told it is within their terms and conditions to change the flight times. The first night in the hotel the food was appalling. The rep actually complained and following on for the next six nights there was a buffet but it was very far remove removed from tastes of Puglia. The hotel was not central to anywhere where you could go to eat or drink so you are confined to the hotel. The group agreed that the hotel was probably more suited for conference because there were no areas comfortable areas to relax. There was no form of entertainment. I decided to stay in the hotel for two days because the coach trips were quite lengthy however, I was unable to get any food because the hotel indicated for two meals daily. There was no form of vending machine when I asked about a Taxi I was told there were no Taxis due to the local village being so small overall I didn’t enjoy the experience. I would go back to Puglia, there are some very nice hotels and very beautiful places to visit. Our visits were limited in time which was annoying.

Went on a solos holiday to Corfu for 2 weeks beginning of July.The reps Janet first week and Monica second week were great and made it very enjoyable.The people were great lovely meals great boat trip would recomend it to anyone.
