Hmm , me and solo learn are like friends sometimes we are the best of friends and others I ghost him for sometime but all in all it's a great experience to interact with others on this grinding path of programming

This company seems very predatory! Will charge your card for 70 dollars which I did not even request for Pro on a very basic kiddie app and will not reply to any of your request: No customer service number or anything. Horrible app, customer service I feel as if I have been scammed.

Sololearn is a good learning app, easy to use and with clear explanations. What I really appreciated is the customer support: when I had an issue, the assistance was very responsive and helpful. It’s reassuring to know that there is a real support team behind the app. Overall, a great experience.

Do not subscribe solo learn! The content is fine at best and they do not ever remind you of your upcoming subscription renewal, which means you’ll be hit with an unexpected £60 payment! Then when you try and get a refund (within hours of the payment being taken ) they don’t allow you to and refer you to some hidden refund T&Cs.
Stay away & save your money!

Should have looked here before trying the free trial… got charged with no notification. Its as if they try to rob you off your money by sending you no notification of the trial ending soon so you dont end up cancelling and they end up with your money. I contacted their support and they dont even bother to help and just redirect you to their refund policy.

The Intermediate SQL course is atrocious. Sololearn seems to have discarded the fundamentals of the learning process, while still having the audacity to ask users to pay money for a subscription that would still leave them utterly confused with incomplete information and many, many questions. For anyone hoping to learn SQL - don't bother with this one. I hope for everyone's sake that Sololearn's other courses are better organised.

A great app, I love this app so much it helped me learn a lots. But i hope it will have Vietnamese.

I was curious about the PRO version but later realized it’s not even the full version, to get proper AI correction, I’d have to pay again for the MAX plan. That’s already misleading enough❗

As I was unhappy with this, I stopped using Sololearn well before my trial ended and even tried to cancel, but a Wi-Fi issue prevented the cancellation from going through Later, after contacting Sololearn, they pointed to their refund policy which reveals their system charges users 24 hours before the trial actually ends. That means even if you cancel within the trial period, you can still get charged. Completely unfair❗

I contacted both Google Play and Sololearn. Google confirmed that the funds were already forwarded to Sololearn and that only Sololearn could process the refund. Yet Sololearn support kept redirecting me back to Google and then ignored my messages altogether.

Their policy claims “exceptions” can be reviewed but in reality, they don’t seem to honor that at all. Their refund process, misleading upgrades and lack of accountability are unacceptable❗

I wish I would've read the reviews before I let them know my debit card number. I've had my money stolen too. It was a bill payment that I borrowed nonetheless and j don't even use the app. Beware of this company. Don't believe their "free trial" and for some reason Google wont issue a refund. They need to take this app out of Google play because it's all a scam. Try Mimo to learn coding

The support person (Nané) was super helpful and prompt in her responses. I basically loved the quick help.

Sololearn is a great product and a great program. It is an excellent learning tool with and easy to use platform. I love the way that long lessons are broken up into manageable portions that build on each other while enforcing previously learned concepts. The "Pro" membership is well-worth the price. I've also had good experience with their support team.

I cancelled my "free trial" the day before it expired. The company still charged me and after 3 weeks of trying to get a response from Support I have yet to have even an acknowledgement of my email. Having gone through the cancellation process more than 10 time snow, the App still states I will be auto renewed. No way of cancelling at all!! I have now had my money stolen, no response to try and resolve, and unsure it won't happen again next year.

I signed up for SoloLearn on May 17, 2025, under their annual PRO plan with a 14-day free trial. All banners and screens clearly stated that no charges would be made until day 14. However, the same day I subscribed, I was charged $52.49 USD without any prior notice.

I canceled the subscription within the trial period, yet they refused to refund the money. Support keeps repeating that I selected a "discounted offer" instead of the free trial, but that’s completely false. There is no other visible option available. I even simulated a new sign-up, and the only available option is the 14-day free trial.

On top of that, the amount they charged me does not match any of the plans they advertise. The annual plan is $69.99 USD (billed on day 14), but I was charged $52.49 USD on the same day I signed up. What plan is that? Where is it listed? That price does not appear anywhere on their website.

I am now filing a chargeback with my bank for unauthorized billing and reporting this situation to consumer protection authorities. I have full screenshots and evidence of everything.

This is false advertising, terrible customer service, and an unethical business practice.

My sololearn journey has been great so far until I hit an obstacle and then paused suddenly. I've always enjoyed learning and it was my intentions to complete all the courses on the platform. I'm excited to be part your community.
The truth is we are in a world were students are paid to study especially at the tertiary level so it's disturbing to find out that people are after my head just because of studying. I don't know if that's from your community or a third party. Honestly, I've stopped learning at your community because of that. I know you have offered me a scholarship, but the price to pay for that scholarship is too expensive. I'm part of the few people who joined your community in your early days and together we contributed ideas to get this far and so I think I deserve a chance to be given a scholarship without any hindrance.
