Smoothly sailed from one job to another in two weeks start to finish, thanks Alex Flory
I had a really positive experience working with Alex during my recruitment process. He communicated clearly and consistently throughout, keeping me well informed at every stage and always following up when he said he would. Alex took the time to properly understand what I was looking for, offered honest advice, and was genuinely helpful in preparing me for interviews and next steps. He was approachable, responsive, and proactive, which made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Exactly what you’d want from a recruiter professional, supportive, and invested in getting the right outcome for everyone involved.
I had an excellent experience with Alex Flory at SoCode. His deep knowledge of the RF job markey and professional approach built trust immediately. He was supportive throughout the entire process, keeping me informed at every interview stage. I am very grateful for Alex's work, as he has helped positively change my career trajectory. Many thanks!
Alex reached out to me with a relevant opportunity and guided me through the process. With phone calls throughout making sure I was informed and fit for the opportunity. Thanks Alex!
This year, I was incredibly fortunate to connect with Alex Flory at SoCode, who played a key role in helping me secure my first job in the UK. Anyone who has been through the job search process knows how challenging it can be.
Overall, my experience working with SoCode was smooth and stress-free. Alex was consistently supportive and helped me prepare for the role in many different ways. He was always approachable, willing to offer guidance, and genuinely invested in my success.
His support has made a significant difference in my life, and I am truly grateful to him. He absolutely deserves a 5-star rating.
I’m writing this review to help more people find SoCode easier to start their journey in UK industry.
I've worked as a contractor for over 40 years in the field of RF and Microwave engineering, so in that time, I've had a lot of experience workin with people from the recruitment industry.
Among the many recruiters I've worked with, Alex stands out as a person that has an extraordinary knowledge of the industry he recruits for, along with a high degree of professionalism, a great negotiating style and a friendly manner.
He is my "go to" person whenever I am looking for an assignment.
I worked with Alex while looking for my next position, and he was consistently respectful, efficient, prompt and friendly throughout the process. He helped me understand the requirements for the position and prepare for my interviews, providing helpful suggestions and recommendations. Alex was available to answer all my questions, and gave me much appreciated reminders for the interviews. Alex also listened to my concerns and managed to negotiate a great offer for me; I will be starting in my new position soon.
I am very happy with our collaboration and have not hesitated to recommend Alex to friends and colleagues.
I had interviewed multiple times with a company and the recruiter Kevin said that I just need to wait for the offer letter. Then he ghosted me. Reached out over and over and Kevin kept making excuses.
Reached out to company directly and they hired for the position already. Kevin didn't inform me and kept making excuses and lying to me.
Incredibly unprofessional, untrustworthy and waste of time.
I would give ZERO stars, but not an option
Constantly fobbed off about a role I was really interested in, spent hours putting together the CV and Cover letter yet nothing, not even a ‘your not right for this role’ called the office twice, emailed the recruiter to only be fobbed off each time.

A fraudulent company posing as a recruiting firm collecting personal information and resumes under the pretense of placing candidates in non-existent roles.

Constant spam, roles that aren't relevant to me, bought my information (I assume from LinkedIn) and will not stop calling me despite many demands to stop.
Company values quantity over quality, avoid and safe yourself a nightmare.
I had a good recruiting experience. I applied for a job and Scott Mundie followed me step by step making sure I understand the process and always acting professionally and he was always available for any question.
I've had the pleasure to work with Scott Mundie at SoCode for a senior software engineer role at a big bank. Scott is very respectful, carefully listens and understands your situation and position. He successfully wrapped up the interview process from introduction to offer in less than 10 days. I have never seen such efficient hiring process with every interview scheduled meaningfully with the right information provided. He is very friendly as well as knowledgeable in giving the right answers to your questions. I'll be delighted to work with him again in the future.
Scott is a star and we need more recruiters like him to help candidates find their dream jobs.
I worked with SoCode once for a job in Cambridge. It is an excellent recruitment company, especially for developers (maybe more). I sincerely recommend them. They will work for you as if you are one of theirs.
Bradleigh Barnes is a recruiter there and I am glad I've met him. Contact him even if you don't need anything right now. You never know when things change.

Nick Moore from SoCode is the best Recruiter to work with if you are seeking employment. he is passionate, enthusiastic, and persistent in helping you find a job. Obviously, he has helped me find a new job but he really has your interests in mind and puts that before his own. I'm going to recommend my former colleagues who are seeking employment to work with him.
I have worked with SoCode several times. As a candidate, they have helped me secure interviews with interesting clients, one of which ended in a contract. I have also seen their work from the recruiter's position, and I can say that they provide value to both candidates and hiring companies. I think they are probably the agency with a better knowledge of Cambridge's engineering jobs market.
Nick at SoCode found me an interesting job on the first call. 6 days and 2 interviews later I had a new job, so I call that pretty efficient!
