We were promised a Monday delivery of the box of vegetables and fruit we ordered and paid £30 on Friday. At 21:20 on Monday they wrote to apologise and say they had been overwhelmed but did not set an expectation for a new delivery date. When I wrote back asking for one I received no response. It is now Wednesday and still no news and no delivery. Sorry this is not the way for a new business to treat its first customers, crisis or no crisis.

I ordered a box. There was a missing item. I called and spoke to one of the most unpleasant humans named Fiona. I had to ask whom it was I was talking to as she failed to introduce herself upon answering the call.

She said “hopefully” my item will be delivered tomorrow. I asked as it sounds as if it is not a guarantee, what the other possibilities were. Fiona was unable to comprehend this for some reason. At this point, my query is unaddressed and I feel I must cut my losses as she didn’t fill me with confidence that my item will be delivered.

I understand these are testing times which means your staff need to address those supporting your business and keeping it afloat with the basic respect and kindness. Cutting me off continuously mid sentence because you are under pressure isn’t decent.

I too am under pressure but I still addressed you in a respectful manner.
