Transfers from SmartyPig seem slow. The lack of email/notification in the system should there be an issue with a transfer requires checking the account regularly until the transfer is completed. While their website appears to have an option to void a transaction (as it knows there is an issue) which appears in a red box next to the transaction. Clicking on the red "VOID" box just logs you out of the account. So you have to begin the log in process again to get back to where you started. Maybe it should be called log out instead. Or call customer service for more info.

Smart-Pig offers a mixed experience. While their service is quick and easy to use, with friendly support staff, there are some notable downsides. They've stopped lending, which is frustrating, and some communication can be a bit confusing, like the emails about financial hardship. Overall, they're reliable for small loans, especially for students, but there are a few issues to be aware of.
