I have had nothing but great experiences from Slyman and I will NEVER go anywhere else. They price match first off so you still get your price and it comes with excellent service. They don't always point you to the most expensive product, they do what's right for you. Dan was super helpful and he'll be my first call for all appliances needs in the future. I haven't had an issue but I have no doubt that if I do, they will help. Thanks!

Lance was great! He made sure that the stovetop I was purchasing was available AND would fit in my countertop space. When a modification was required, he was able to suggest a reasonable solution. I will be returning to Slyman Brothers for all my appliance purchases from now on.

I ostensibly purchased a display model dishwasher from the O'Fallon store. Prior to the purchase, I noticed a single, slight dent on the face of the dishwasher and was told the discounted price was reflective of that imperfection. Fine. I can live with that blemish given the price adjustment, bought the dishwasher and had it delivered a few days later. Surprisingly, though, the dishwasher that arrived at my house was NOT THE SAME unit I viewed at the store and intended to purchase. Slyman Brothers delivered a different dishwasher (same make/model as the floor unit, though) that was in significantly worse shape than the unit I thought I was buying. The front of the dishwasher delivered to my house is beat up with multiple dents and scratches. Additionally, one of the leveling legs is broken and the adjoining structural plastic frame is cracked, indicative of the unit being dropped on that leg. I called the store to seek restitution and was told that since my wife - who accepted delivery while I was at work - did not unpackage the dishwasher and note these problems upon delivery, I have no recourse.

Well done, Slyman Brothers. You got me. What a great way to unload open-box, damaged items you want out of inventory. Show the customer a decent-looking floor model, but deliver a different unit that somewhere along the way has become unsaleable unless you can find an idiot like me to take it off your hands using the time-tested bait and switch concept. You should change your advertising tagline to the PT Barnum quote "There's a sucker born every minute." Fortunately for me, though, I learn from my mistakes and will NEVER do business with your company again. Anyone reading this review should follow my lead.

Hello - Mike was very knowledgeable and honest during our conversation. He listened to what I wanted and about the situation I was in. He made suggestions, checked prices on a couple different options. Given the age of the other appliances we have, it is very possible we’ll need replacements. When the time comes, will look to work with Mike again. Thanks very much.

I am happy to have bought local rather than a big box store. Jake is a great face for your business. The delivery service was also very good. Nate was a very nice young man and had the washing machine removed and installed within minutes!! My only regret is that I didn't ask about how quiet the machine would be. I have been using it and it's loud compared to my old machine but now I just shut the door to the laundry room.
