Payment system that excludes certain SEPA banks

Their system does not accept all banks. I have accounts with two different French banks, and neither of them was available in their system.

As a result, I was unable to complete a subscription for a service that relies on SlimPay for SEPA payments.

What is particularly surprising is that SEPA direct debit is supposed to work with all SEPA banks. Yet this system seems to introduce restrictions that did not exist before, effectively making the payment process worse than the standard it replaces.

It raises a simple question: why implement a payment solution that excludes certain banks and prevents customers from completing a purchase, when the underlying SEPA system is designed to work with all of them?

In my case, it simply meant I could not buy the service and had to choose a competitor instead.
