I recently purchased skirting boards from Skirting4less and had a really positive experience overall. The ordering process on their website was straightforward, with plenty of styles and sizes to choose from, which made it easy to find exactly what I needed for my project.

Delivery was prompt and the boards arrived well packaged, so there was no damage in transit. The quality of the skirting boards themselves was excellent — clean cuts, smooth finish, and consistent throughout. They were easy to install and looked great once painted and fitted.

Customer service was also responsive when I had a quick question before ordering, which gave me confidence in the purchase.

Overall, I’m very happy with the product and service and would definitely consider using Skirting4less again for future projects. Highly recommended.

Terrible customer service. I ordered the wrong size, my mistake entirely, but when I called to arrange an exchange I was told that the order had cost this company £180 to deliver to me (I was charged £24.99 delivery) and that I would be charged £108 plus a re-stocking fee of 25% to return the 8 pieces of skirting board I had had delivered. Clearly very unwilling to do returns even though I was looking for an exchange and not a refund. I understand and was prepared to pay return costs and the cost of delivery for the replacements but I was told the best thing to do was to get a carpenter to cut the boards to the right size! Will absolutely not be using this company again and I would advise against them.

Deceptive practices, or at least woefully unclear. Website terms say boards are all 3 set lengths, and product descriptions say "random lengths" of between 1 and 4m. Which is it?

Finish on the wood was terrible.

Would have to pay delivery charges and a processing fee to get a refund. Oh, but they'll give us free delivery on the amount we would need to make it up to the right length, except that would make them double the price of their competitors.
