AVOID AVOID AVOID.

I purchased a car seat from the lady who runs “simply safe car seats” as she states most are next day delivery. I received a confirmation email stating it would be delivered within 3-5 days which was fine.

When the tracking didn’t update after the 5 days i emailed the owner to find out what was happening. I was told she was waiting for the car seat to come into the country and that it would be here in an additional 5 days. 8 days went past with no communication so I followed up on an email on day 8 and day 10 to which I was ignored. I left two comments on her Facebook page to which she deleted.

I’ve now had to open a dispute with the bank as she has my money.

AWFUL customer service - the owner is not fit to run a business.

I also find it funny how she removed me from the Facebook page and how she’s tried to get this post removed for using her name. I have changed my review to remove her name…

Really rude. This woman runs a Facebook page about car seat safety, and this is one of her many rude responses to parents asking for advice:

“She won’t entertain a sear after 135cm? Sorry how old is she? 9 or 19?

Take responsibility for your own child, imagine having a crash and she’s injured because you don’t want to parent her correctly and explain why she needs to use a HBB.

Would you really let you child choose this in a crash?

There’s giving advice and there’s been outright rude.

I have to say I am extremely disappointed with the attitude of the owner of this business. Gabi is very knowledgeable about car seat safety, however, her attitude towards mothers who are seeking advice is appalling. She openly mocks mothers who are seeking support with car seat safety. Instead of using her knowledge to support others, she shames people. I personally would not wish to support a business run by someone who is rude to new mothers who are seeking safety advice for their children. I bought my car seat from Simply Safe, but for this reason I will not be returning as a customer for future purchases, and I would advise others to spend their money where the profits will not be going to a person who seems to find joy in being rude. I am grateful that there were no major issues with my order, as judging by her attitude I can't imagine her being forthcoming to finding a solution if there was a problem.

I ordered an Axkid car seat from Simply Safe Car Seats, and the experience was shockingly poor. Delivery was promised between 4–6 November but never arrived, and updates were only given when I chased repeatedly.

Communication was rude and unprofessional, and defensive from the onset. It’s clear from reading other reviews that poor communication is a recurring issue for quite some time now.

The owner states they would make contact with me and then didn’t. Causing myself to worry that I was being scammed. Which I had earlier indicated to her. I then took to google and checked reviews to see that MANY have had this issue with her.

When I asked for clarification about my order being cancelled, the business owner responded rudely, even asking “Are you unwell?” , before later BLOCKING me while STILL HOLDING MY PAYMENT. I had to contact my bank and raise a dispute to ensure I got my money back. I contacted my bank straight away as what confidence does it give a person when they get a reply and are instantly blocked ?! I am still yet to receive my refund, but I have FINALLY had a confirmation that she has cancelled my order and a refund should be on its way. Whether my bank gets it from her or she actually refunds me. Despite her apparently not working Saturdays…

Looking at other reviews since, this seems to be a pattern: poor communication, slow responses, RUDE comments to customers, and an unprofessional attitude toward paying customers their OWN money back. Even as a small business, basic courtesy and professionalism should be non-negotiable, especially when selling safety equipment for children. If she cannot cope with being such a small independent business perhaps she should look at an alternative career path or recruit people to assist instead of taking it out on PAYING customers.

You should NEVER have to chase for an order if it’s running late. After I repeatedly did she decided to post publicly on her socials about the delay - which should have been done prior as I was checking the socials for updates regarding this issue. It doesn’t take much to update customers who have paid. I have NEVER experienced customer service quite this bad.

My order was eventually cancelled and refunded, but I would never buy from this retailer again. There are many other authorised Axkid sellers who communicate properly and treat customers with respect.

I have since contacted Axkid direct regarding her appalling behaviour and the fact they have her as an authorised seller when she shouldn’t be representing the brand in such a way.

I will attach messages between myself and her because no doubt she will reply with a disgusting comeback and try and put the blame back into myself like she has done with other reviews I have read. I don’t care, I will message as many times as needed when someone is rude and ignores you and takes your money with zero care, updates or consideration. Especially when I am spending my hard earned money.

I will await the awful response. I believe her name is Gabi from what I’ve read.

Car seat is good but delivery was much slower than the website stated and communication wasn’t great. Asked a question post purchase and again response was very brief and not very helpful.

All I can say is fantastic when researching the be safe car seat I not only found the most information about the seat on Simplysafe car seats it arrived so quickly. I purchased the car seat in the morning and 3 hours later it was out for shipping and was at my door the next afternoon. I have never had such speedy delivery could not recommend enough.

I had previously purchased a car seat for my first born from a reputable childrens retailer with limited knowledge on seat safety I just assumed a popular name brand would be safe. But I have since educated myself on car seat safety and the importance of having a well fitted high quality seat. I wanted to buy from this store because the owner previously gave me helpful and non judgmental advice with a fit check for my son in a seat I hadn’t purchased from her on a free Facebook page she helps run giving out free advice and fit checks. I cannot imagine the amount of time she spends helping all these people and not taking a penny for it, the advice is saving lives and I am so grateful for the help I was previously given which is why I knew with my second child I would be buying from here.

If you want the safest for your child then buy from here!

The owner is incredibly rude. I haven’t personally bought from this brand, purely because I’m actually afraid to deal with the owner. On Facebook she comes across as a rude bully. Some of the things she’s commented on others’ posts have actually made my jaw drop… and reading these comments it looks like it’s not just me who thought it after all. I’ll be buying my car seats and seeking advice elsewhere.

Simply Safe has been an incredible resource for all our car seat needs and they have supported us to rear face all four of my children and are always on hand to answer questions. Their delivery is speedy and when we had issues with the courier, Gabi reached out to them herself to ensure it was sorted out quickly. Any time I need advice, they reply quickly and are understanding of my stress as a parent!! Brilliant service, highly recommend to anyone.

I had a very disappointing experience with Simply Safe Car Seats. After purchasing a car seat, I attempted to get support with an issue, but the phone number provided didn’t work and my email (sent weeks earlier) went completely unanswered.
When I finally reached someone via chat, I asked for a phone call to resolve the issue more efficiently. I was told a call wasn’t possible because it was the school holidays and the representative was a “working mum of 3.” While I fully understand the challenges of parenting and working, this was an unprofessional response — especially coming from a business.
I explained that I, too, am a working mum and needed a quicker resolution, only to be met with further unhelpfulness and passive-aggressive messages. In the end, I was told they no longer deal with Britax (the brand I purchased) and was simply directed elsewhere.
If customer support matters to you, I strongly suggest shopping elsewhere. A lack of professionalism and accountability from a company dealing with child safety products is unacceptable.

I have bought 3 car seats from simply safe car seats and all have been amazing. If i had any concerns i would message the facebook page and they would give advice, for example fit checks, if i felt one was needed. for all of my seats delivery was very quick. i will continue to purchase my future seats from here :) thank you xx
