Very good service
Simplesite has a very good service and its team is very helpful. Everything is excellent except that sometimes the number of website visitors is off. Otherthan this issue, i recommend simplesite to anyone who wants to use it to make a website.

Is the paid version the best option?
I have given this site an 'Average' score as I am not sure what site produces a better service. Once you pay for the experience, there is no going back.
Any problems I have had on SimpleSite have been readily and professionally answered in good time. No leaving you hanging on for days.
Looking at what you can get for 'free' on the site, to me, doesn't offer much less than the one that I am paying for. I have lots of different subjects that I write about and, it would be great to have different coloured backgrounds for each section. It seems this cannot be done. The section to upload photographs is slow Only one at a time!
I like my blog, but find it difficult to understand why the free version looks so much better.
Overall, a good site to work on, but could do with some added extras as stated above.

Simplesite.com is simply the best! I am dissatisfied with certain aspects
My collaboration with simple site was ok, but there are some things that I don't like.
The first thing is that the platform doesn't offers me protection for my site content and anybody can download the photos and videos which I upload to it. My work is not safe.This is the biggest problem that I have with simple site and if this problem will persist, I will no longer work with them.
The second thing is that there are limited possibilities to create on my site and the platform is very rigid in this regard. If I want my site to look different, I can not do this because I do not have the tools to do so(for example-if I want to put a photo in another part of the site, I cannot do that). There aren't enough tools to create what I want and I feel limited about that. People can not have de possibility to put like on my articles or to subscribe, because these buttons do not exist.
Another think that I don't like is that there isn't the possibility to pay for 6 month, and they don't make personalized price offers.

However, it seems that there may be some misunderstanding as to what a website is and is not. First of all a website behaves different to a social media platform, where you can like/ comment or subscribe. This is usually not possible on a website unless integrated widgets are added. A website is more static and works as a sort of business card for your visitors, who can read up the information they need. SimpleSite does not integrate with widgets because this requires changes in the html coding. Since our concept is to provide a simple website, we do not allow these changes to our code.
You can however, link your website to social media. Allowing your visitors to go directly to your facebook, instagram or twitter account, from where people can ''like'' or ''follow''. You can do this by adding the social media accounts under your settings. Additionally, people can leave comments to your articles if you set up a blog-function on your website and activate the comment system. If you need assistance doing that, we suggest reaching our customer service directly by writing an email to customerservice@simplesite.com, since Trustpilot is only a review- platform and not a way to reach out to us.
Finally, it is never possible to protect the images and content you share online. Anyone can take a screenshot or download an image once it's available online. That's why we suggest watermarking your images. This is not just a limitation from SimpleSite, but simply the way the world wide web works. If, however, you mean password protected pages then, yes, we do not offer this functionality as this does not fit our brand promise of simplicity, where we try to make website building as simple as possible.
We do suggest you reach out to our support team directly, to see if they can help you. However, we're sorry if SimpleSite is not the platform for you. Since it is impossible to create a site designer that satisfies the needs of 100% of users, we offer our focus and expertise to those users in need of a simple tool, and we understand there are separate solutions in the market for advanced users.
