Obtaining contact details to sell on to loan companies

I have never applied for a loan before, which is why I was surprised when I received an influx of emails, texts and phone calls from different payday loan companies.

I was initially worried someone was using my details and my credit rating would be damaged, so I contacted all the loan companies who had emailed me.

Lending stream responded to me, saying the application came from one of their affiliates- Silvercityfinance.

I looked at their website and it seems they are a marketing company. I can only assume they have obtained my details without my knowledge.
