I’ve been an OBX vacationer for 25 years and this was the worst experience ever. The house we rented wasn’t cleaned prior to us using it, the outdoor deck furniture was very outdated and in one instance the metal table was completely rusted. With regards to the rental management company, and with the exception of one very pleasant agent, ShorelineOBX rentals and a couple of their other agents were totally uncaring, not to mention having extremely poor customer service skills. I’ll never use ShorelineOBX rentals again!

The property was in a great location but needed a lot of work. There were holes in the walls in the 2nd floor large bedroom as if someone had kicked the wall numerous times. There was also a large space in the same bedroom between the ceiling and wall; perhaps indicating a water problem in the past, but the repair work had still not been done. The bathtub on the first floor had been seriously corroded as if someone had poured drano in the tub and just left it there to eat the tub finish. The light for the stairs to the main entrance to the house was not working making for a very dangerous condition at night. The refrigerator light was also out.There was also only one trash basket throughout the whole house which was odd. I informed property management of these problems but nothing was done during our stay.

Upon our arrival to the office everything was great. Great people working in the office to great and check you in. After that things not like the pictures shown on the web site. Linens we had to call two times for. Every ceiling fan in the house was caked with dust and dirt like they have not been touched in over a year. All carpets were not vacuumed. Found black mold on one of the vents in a bedroom. I know we left the place ten times cleaner then when we arrived.But this is not the first house we have rented that was dirty. They need better cleaning company’s. Other then that house was good and we all had a great time.

Very nice staff. They made a every effort to get us into our house early which is a very big plus. Would recommend using this realty

We had an excellent experience with ShorelineOBX and will definitely look to work with them for future vacation rentals.

Our realtor was awesome! Very easy to work with . Wi-fi not working when we arrived, realtor had someone there within an hour!
Pamrla’s was very nice , large, great layout.
Kitchen needs new pots and pans and basement needs updating! A gas grill would be nice.
Everything else in good shape.
Loved the view and location .

The company was great but the house left much to be desired. We wouldn't rent it again.

Shoreline was was great to deal with when renting. I feel the unit could have been cleaner and was not happy with the way the unit was left (trash was not taken out to corner, flies all around trash and got into the house, return vents in unit were filthy, sand in the "clean sheets"). When I called company they said they would send someone out but never did. Not sure they needed to really but don't promise something and not fulfill the promise.

Shoreline BOX Rentals was great to work with. They were very welcoming and helpful.

We have been happy enough with our house to keep coming back. But, last year there was trouble with the pool having too much sand in it and it was also cloudy. Though it was a busy time of the summer, we didn't think they responded very quickly to our calls or fully corrected the problem. If it is not corrected by this summer we will have to look elsewhere.

Everything with the rental we had this past August 2018 was great. No problems what so ever . All went perfect. Shoreline rentals turned out to be terrific. We are renting again from them thi summer as well.

Someone answered the phone every time I called prior to coming and while we were in the rental. Employees were polite and helpful. Only drawback was having to stop by the rental office first on the way to the house. Set us back timewise and nothing that couldn't have been done online.

The advertisement of the property misrepresented the inclusion of a credit towards beach gear. It tool some negotiations to figure out a somewhat adequate solution.

The house was very dirty and when we complained they said that management would be informed and no one called back or refunded any money for us having to wipe down dirty bathrooms and kitchen areas and spray all of the mold the first night of our vacation. There was hair on the floors and in the showers and the bedspreads were discusting! Water bottles and cups from the previous renters were left on the dressers. This was after they assured us the house would be clean when cleanliness was discussed before we rented the house.
