Easy to work with and good customer service

Shoreline OBX did a fantastic job.Booking was easy, check-in was seamless and the house was exactly as described. Overall our family had a great week on the Outer Banks. I highly recommend Shoreline OBX to book a vacation rental. We will definitely use them again.

Overall the experience was great with Shoreline. The only thing I would say its the houses don't appear to be cleaned all that well. That likely has more to do with cleaning people then them. But anyway we vacuumed when we first got there and the vacuum filled up with debris and hair in less then 5 minutes so we cleaned the house for an hour or so and found the prior peoples cups and stuff. Not a huge deal we just cleaned the house and did not complain.

This house is wonderfully tended, has virtually everything a family gathering (we had 20 - grandchildren to great-grandparents) would need. It's a short hike to the beach and everyone had a great time. If there is any drawback, it is the third floor "great room" was part of the dining room so was a bit small for everyone to gather unless everyone was eating and the pool could get a bit cluttered if everyone was ready for a dip. Otherwise, it was ideal. Otherwise, it was golden!

Shoreline OBX was a great rental company for our beach vacation. They were very nice, good with communication and we had no issues! I would definitely rent from them again.

I love the Shore Advantage program that Shoreline OBX has. Being able to check in at noon instead of 4PM was amazing. We had a few snags here and there with Shoreline but I would still rent from them again. The people in the house trashed the place (not Shoreline's fault) but we did get blamed for some of the damage. I had to push back on them and they did determine that it was not our damage. It turned out to be a non-issue but it did add some stress that was not necessary. I also did not care for having to go to the office to check in. The house had electronic door locks so aside from signing checkout instructions (which I signed in the contract) there was no need to stop in there again. Despite these minor annoyances, Shoreline was great to rent with. They worked with us on a couple of requests that we had, were very responsive to email and phone calls, and were always a pleasure to work with.
I would rent again with Shoreline and recommend them to friends.

Another beautiful vacation at the Outer Banks. Sea Dunes A-3 was well equipped and wouldn't change a thing, will definitely rent again.

This home accmodated our family well. We enjoyed the open floor on the top floor living area!! The location was perfect to the ocean and Duck. This lovely home is need of maintenance and some TLC. However, we will rent again.

Upon arrival, the house was absolutely BREATHTAKING! The rooms were immaculate and filled with amenities. Between the pool, game room, and convenient location to the beach, our vacation experience was wonderful. But most of all, we loved the amazing customer service, and can’t wait to make more memories with our family in the future!

Always easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions or problems

Shoreline was a fine rental/management company. Nothing fancy, hated that we had to go to the office to check in-there was keyless entry so why not just email the weekly code like other rental companies do? Completely unconcerned with the broken washer, was told I’d get a call back to see what we could do about it but the call never came. We called them back and asked for extra towel sets which they did deliver the next day, so that was nice. Thought it was so weird that guests are instructed to vacuum as part of check out. Overall, a fine company but would probably rent from another next time.

Shoreline was very responsive and attentive. We are repeat customers and trust them with one of the most important weeks of our family's year.

Ive stayed at Sound Goodies 2 times so far. While the home is great there are two issues the owner needs to address as they happened both times we stayed.

1. The pool is not being properly maintained. It had a green tint upon arrival and was cloudy by wednesday. This happened this year and when we stayed two years ago.

2. The top floor AC is undersized as it cannot keep up with the summer heat. This year it was not above 87 and we still were hot up there in the afternoon. Two years ago when we stayed there was a heat wave and it was even worse. Maintenance staff says there is nothing they can do and the homeowner needs to consider putting curtains or frosted glass on their top level windows

I worked with customer service representative, Jennifer. She was excellent to work with and she was very accommodating and attentive! I would definitely rent from Shoreline again! Thank you Jennifer for making our last minute decision to vacation in Duck with our dogs a reality! When other rental companies were not interested in helping you stepped up to the plate and worked with me! We loved the house we rented in Port Trinity! The 2 weeks stay was heavenly! I truly appreciate the customer service provided - again, many thanks!

The entire process from the time of booking, payment, pre-check in, check-in, and during our stay was incredibly easy. Though there may have been a few small issues with the house itself, Shoreline OBX was easy to reach and every issue was handled quickly and efficiently. Would rent from them again!
