Let down by after sales experience
It was easy to purchase the car from a distance, only visiting the garage to collect it. Car was clean and tidy, and Ray was helpful. However, 3 weeks later, still waiting for V5, as this is not activated immediately. Disappointing.

S G Petch…Simply the best!
I’ve been buying cars from S G Petch Middlesbrough ever since they opened their Skippers Lane showroom, and have never been less than totally satisfied with the experience. They are friendly and knowledgeable and there’s no high pressure sales tactics. I’ve always felt that the deals I’ve had have been competitive. I’ve lost count of the number of cars that I’ve bought from them but it must be at least 10 in the last 20 years and I’ve never been disappointed. Big thanks to Gareth for all his help with my latest purchase and Shaun Burke for being simply the best in the trade. 👏

A great buying experience from a friendly, helpful and knowledgeable member of the Sales team; and they were very accommodating when I needed to change my agreed collection/hand over day.
This privately owned company understand the personnel touch and do not 'sell'. Would always recommend them.

Car booked in for service and MOT, good communication throughout work informed me of work that was required so it could be organised. Only negative was the car parking spaces were all taken up and struggled to find a spot on the road due to the amount of cars parked there

Recently bought a new PV5 van from Ricky at the York branch, he was very quick to respond with answers and arranged a test drive. After driving the van there was no pressure to buy and we went ahead and purchased a van they happened to have in stock rather than having to wait a couple of months.
On handover Ricky patiently explained the features of the van and helped us to learn how to look after an EV, and followed up a few days later to see if we needed anything.
Great experience from start to finish, how all car and van dealerships should be - Highly recommend
