Management approach is bad

While the work itself is fulfilling, the current management approach hinders the team's ability to perform at their best. A change in management style to one that values communication, respect, and collaboration would greatly benefit both staff morale and the quality of service provided to patients.
This review is based on my experience as a Ward Host at Southampton Hospital, While I found the work itself to be rewarding and enjoyed the opportunity to assist patients, the management style created a challenging and difficult work environment. One manager in particular YASHPREET BHANGAL and some supervisors under him were the worst. and they were showing a lot of contempt to ward hosts.
A professional and respectful work environment is essential for a role that is so vital to patient well-being.
Key Issues:
- Communication & Respect: The management approach lacked respect for the ward host team. Instructions were often delivered in a demanding and authoritarian manner, which created a tense atmosphere and made it difficult to ask questions or seek clarification. The team often felt as though their contributions were undervalued.
- Workload & Expectations: Expectations for the role were at times unrealistic, and there was a perceived lack of understanding of the day-to-day challenges faced by ward hosts. This led to unnecessary pressure and stress.
- Team Morale: The overall team morale was low due to the disrespectful and unsupportive management style. A more collaborative and respectful approach would significantly improve the work environment and the effectiveness of the team.

If I could put a zero star I would

If I could put a zero star I would , you should be ashamed of yourselves, I paid for a collection ( I am disabled) so had to pay for it out my benefits and because I listed the items incorrectly refused to take it …. Absolute shame on you after the telephone conversation where you basically didn’t give a shit and told me I’d have to pay again …. No wonder so much fly tipping goes on and as for the gentleman I spoke to and I use gentleman lightly how powerful you must have felt when I was in floods of tears trying to explain !!

Worked for this company for short period of time

Worked for this company for just over two months, and I simply could not take any more and had to leave. They consistently lie to both their employees and customers about targets and measures they are supposedly meeting when they are not. They break rules such as not providing inductions and safety training, as well as failing to supply the correct equipment for their employees.

Serco you are destroying the uk

Serco you are destroying the uk. Scandal, assisting illegal immigration is a crime. Nobody likes you even your employees. Disgusting company that is actually putting the British public at risk. All these protesters will be heading your way as everyone has had enough. The non documented targeting our woman and child. Let’s hope nothing happens to anyone you know as this is a problem of your own making.
