These are the worst people to deal with. WILLIAM GREENWOOD is an absolute scam artist, unresponsive and irresponsible. He has lied to us on multiple occassions and is inconsistent at getting back to us and has tried to over charge us for our deposit. Horrible letting agents, AVOID. The only good part about this company is Leanne, the phone operator. She deserves a raise

Unable to get through to the agent. Phone constantly engaged. My son and his 7 flat mates have been without a washer for over a week. Fridge broken sent a second hand dirty mould one in replace. Heating broken and no hot water, all in week. Dissatisfied with the response from this company. My son has run out of clean clothes, no care, urgency. Reluctantly giving one star. Total contrast to other student letting agent dealt with who carry out their responsibilities as required.

Worst property management agency ever.
The customer service is terrible, you struggle to get through on the phone lines. Staff are unable to answer your queries or give you the incorrect information.
I was overcharged by £2000 for repairs at end of tenancy. When I ask to speak with a supervisor no one gets back to me.
Avoid at all costs!

My experience with this agency, formerly Walton Robinsons, has been deeply unsatisfactory. When I received the keys, I asked about the room's cleanliness, and they assured me it had been cleaned. However, I found a dirty mattress, unkempt floors, and an unpleasant odour.

My tenancy agreement promised a smooth experience from September to September with upfront bill payments. But the reality was different. Communication was a struggle, and basic amenities were neglected.

I strongly advise against using this agency. They charged us for pre-existing damages and cleaning, and their business practices lack ethics. Your peace of mind and finances are at risk. Be cautious of seemingly positive reviews; some may not be genuine.

my daughter rented a house with this company and paid over a £2000 deposit. When the tenancy ended the company charged a large cleaning bill even though the property had been cleaned and hoovered out to a good standard. The landlord charged this bill even though 12 days later the builders were in the house totally refurbishing the full house. I questioned and appealed this bill but they would not listen. I even had photos of the cleaned rooms and all the builders rubbish pilled outside 12 days later after the invoice ! I would not recommend using this company.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. We’ve had a damp problem at 32b Claremont place since we moved in august 2022. After a year of complaining and 0 help or care from Walton Robinson/ seekers, the roof has finally give way and fallen through.

The communication between tenants and the office is shocking as you report a problem and they some times don’t even get back to you l.

Just a heads up to anyone who’s thinking of renting with them this year as the are no help at all.

Useless staff. Never fixed issues we reported. Now evicted us and claiming against us. Shocking company. See you in court!

If i could give no stars, i would!

I Just made a call to their office to enquire about a park home for my mother. I was met by the most obnoxious lady answering the phone. She asked for my home address, and i asked why do they need that information?
Her answer "company Policy"! again i asked for what reason, then she put the phone down on me!
They cant even be bothered to give an explanation to a simple question.
If this is the standard of the staff that answer the phones, then i dread to think what the standard of the others that actually buy and sell your home is?

We all need to protect ourselves for data protection reasons, so why not the innocent public too?

Sellers need to know that these people will take your money and do absolutely nothing to sell your home for you....avoid at all costs!

I wish I had read the reviews first . Paid my money up front to sell my home 2 months ago and not a single view or call . The only time the company call you is when you keep asking if there is any interest and all you get is yes we had plenty . This company takes your money and don’t deliver . Don’t do it

Do NOT pay money to this company. I paid £500 to get a reduced final commission payable on a sale of my mobile home but had not one single potential buyer over 4 months. Lots from two other companies though so I assume that - apart from posting it on their website - no effort at all was made to sell. I chased them and was rudely told this was because it was priced too high - they agreed the advertised price. Even after I dropped the price by £15k however still no appointments were made. No one ever contacted me either.

I rented a property off of seekers for over 2 years, when my renewal if my tenancy came up I was told by there office unfortunately over the phone that my contract would be extended as I couldn't get to their office as it was closed due to covid lock down. Nothing else was ever said until I gave my notice to leave. They didn't extend my contract they had changed it with out me knowing or even being in my contract that they could do this.. yes it is there for their protection and yours but a good bus would tell you and even send you the details of contract. When I left and they had the keys they took me to dispute for more money then when they had the keys back no communication at all apart from to ask for money. When they did the check out snag they were more at depth then their move in inventory and even the additional items I stated was not on there.
I was told at the start and the inventory even had the wrong garden and I couldn't use my front door for the whole tenancy, I had to repair the fence and build a gate as promised to secure my garden even though these were promised.
Yet I'm still in the wrong... be care who you chose. Make sure everything is in writing!

Found seekers, especially the founder 'Nigel Harvey' a rude and arrogant man who is unorganized and gives you wrong information and then denies it. He gives nothing but lack of communication and extremely unprofessional and treats people as though there stupid.

Seekers as a whole staff wise are okay, just a few miscommunication and wrong information. Quick to keep you updated via email and swift with financial status (deposit return). Didn't bother speaking to them when having problems, went directly to my landlord.

All staff there need further training and to read documentation properly before accusing tenants of 1. not paying there rent (when they give you the incorrect details to pay your rent into), or 2. Accusing you of taking the properties fire extinguisher/fire blanket (when it is in the inventory check all along).

Dont use them, Don't trust them,

Nigel Harvey called my friend an ars*hole. He turned up at my rental without an appointment and wearing no PPE and because my friend was showing in a new tenant for me as I was shielding it wasn't convenient. He launched into a tirade of abuse and said "What are you going to do? Hit me?" and then pretended to film him. I think Mr Harvey needs psychiatric help. Horrible "man".

During the lockdown period it was very difficult to get a house,I approached many agencies...but only Seeker's helped me...it was so quick.thank you Seekers.

Misleading information with regards to payment required before actual renting a property. When it turns out this property was not required we asked for a refund as we had been confused by the reason for 2 payments being taken (actually not legal anymore!) However not only was this refused but the tone of the email we received from Nigel Harvey (Director) was neither professional or courteous & was in-fact rather aggressive demanding we apologise to them for the fact we felt mislead & had misunderstood their rather confusing mixed messages from the verbal feedback we were given by their staff. Not to mention the fact he didn’t show the good grace to spell our name correctly or indeed check the grammar on the email he sent us. A thoroughly disappointing communication from a customer service point of view. Not recommended unless you want to be made to feel awful when already in a vulnerable position.

I was left standing outside a property that I was interested in buying for three quarters hour,no phone call to apologise and nobody arrived DISGUSTING ATTITUDE,JUST AS BAD AS URBAN.CO.UK,
both a waste of time and space.

We have used Seekers for a number of years without issues. However in the last 2 years lots of staff changes& their service is awful, lacking and simply not interested. My properties were so badly treated it cost me AND I had to personally get involved to salvage it. Directors simply don't care, don't respond. I had to take them to Court before they actually did anything
