I called to request stop payment…
I called to request stop payment posting i made because i paid more than i should. I admit that was my fault. I called their customer service specifically credit card, explained, then was transfered to checking acct, then transferred back to credit. They said wait for it to be poated then call again, even gave me a ref number. Then I got a message it was posted so i immediately called. Only to be told it's not a case of over payment and it cannot be retuned back to me since i still have a balance. I asked for a sup but the agent said there's no one avail. It's not as if i was asking for the whole amount to be returned, just a portion because i realized i paid the merchant via debit, not credit. I did my due diligence and called prior payment posting, they said wait for posting. When it was posted... "sorry can't give it back." That's stupid, security bank. You need to train better agents so they understand the concerns. Tagalof na nga ang usapan di pa rin naintindihan

I had an amazing experience today at Security Bank Malolos Branch. From the moment I walked in, the Security Guard greeted me warmly and asked about my concern. When I mentioned I was there to claim my debit card, he directed me to another guard who kindly assisted me in getting a queue number.
I was then assisted by Ms. Sally, who welcomed me with a smile, even while she was helping another customer. She asked for my ID and listened attentively to my concerns. Her cheerful attitude, professionalism, and willingness to help really stood out. She also guided me through the steps to apply for a credit card, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
In a world where we often encounter grumpy employees, Ms. Sally is a breath of fresh air. She’s a rockstar, so energetic, accommodating, and clearly passionate about her work. Thank you so much, Ms. Sally! I’m truly grateful for your excellent service.

Left a review 2 April and you would think skmeone from their customer care will look at every review and take action. Not a single member of their team got in touch and get at the bottom of the issue. Still waiting for the release of my property title for over 3 months despite regular follow up. Worst of it is they wouldn't provide me with explanation. Really poor banking experience. Avoid avoid avoid
Security Bank Correcting a Mistake
I’ve been using Security Bank for more than a year & they have been very helpful. However, I recently had an issue that looked like it was going to be the end. I wanted to invest in a UITF & carefully researched it with the help of Security Bank. Having made my choice a zillion forms were completed (it’s the Philippines) & the application was submitted. After a few days a UITF was opened, however, I quickly spotted that it was not precisely the one specified in the application. It would result in higher trust fees. I immediately contacted the bank saying that it must be cancelled. They apologized & took immediate action, even fast-tracking it. Unfortunately, the amount that I received back into my current account was $100 short. Security Bank apologized but said that this couldn’t be corrected. I decided not to proceed with the UITF as I could not tolerate what I saw as unethical behaviour. A few days passed then I received messages from Security Bank saying that the missing $100 had been credited to my account. In general I have a very low opinion of large companies & the bureaucrats that pollute them. I am therefore very pleased that Security Bank have taken this issue on board & decided to do the honorable thing. This is rare in today’s world so I am writing this as public commendation of Security Bank. Live long & prosper.

Used a atm and just before the transaction finished it stopped.
Then i tryed again and this time i got my money. After i got back home from my holiday i noticed it was booked dubble.
I got limited redraw and booked bubble.
Thats how they make profit at the bank i guess.
LACKS INTELLIGENCE…
The bank that shows Philippines is still under developed. Lacks customer service intelligence too. I went to open an account in Makati, I explained that we're staying in the next hotel and I would like to open an account. I am a Filipino national whilst my husband is foreign. I explained what the account is for and all. The woman at the counter went to check with her "manager" who equaly lacks the basic common sense for not guiding this new accounts person thoroughly. After checking with her manager this NA lady went to ask for my ID, and my husbands salary and work information which I provided. After a good 10 mins of asking us and pretending to process my bank opening. This NA lady just told us to open the account in my own city because they have "zoning" system!!! I AM NOT SURE IF SHE IS NEW IN HER JOB OR SHE SIMPLY DOES NOT KNOW ABOUT THEIR LIMITATIONS. SHE COULD HAVE TOLD US THIS ZONING FROM THE START, WHY WASTE OUR TIME AND WORST ASK FOR OUR FINANCIAL INFORMATION WHICH ARE SO CONFIDENTIAL JUST TO TELL US THAT THEIR BANK CANT SERVE US.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. THIS BANK LACKS THE COMMON SENSE AND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT IS CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL.

There were unauthorized transactions made in my bank account, currently not in the Philippines and gave my number from abroad but I still didnt hear anything from them for 48 hours now...I mean this is an urgent case as money has been wrongfully deducted/hacked from my bank account.
I tried to contact their Viber but it doesnt exist, Mail support non existent. So im left hanging with 35k less in my bank account and no one to help me.
Edit: I got my money back in my account but no explanation or update whatsoever why this happened...changed my review to 3 stars but Im still waiting for an explanation

I open an account because I want to pay my credit card online. When I open my account they said my ATM is ready for pick and bring 1 valid ID for pick up. (They didn't say, bring the valid ID you use to open the account) Very inconvenient I gave 2 valid ID already and they still need my passport. This bank will test your patient to your maximum. Even opening at 9am. Customer service are eating and talking gossips inside their stations. Branch is in Upper Antipolo.

If you once made a payment and now you need a payment confirmation - forget about it! The bank don't have a feature of the most basic thing - to tract your money in their bank!!!...
