I had tried Seattle Sutton years ago - way before they had a vegetarian plan or offered a partial week plan.
Fast forward 20 years, and I started buying these meals for my elderly parents when they started having health problems. I noticed that the new owner, a registered dietician had totally revamped the menu - offering a vegetarian plan, a partial week plan, and a totally revamped menu with many mediterranean diet choices.
Now that they offer a "no seafood" option at the 1200 calorie level, I decided to give it another go! I started back on 1/22/2024.
Wow! the food is so much better! It's fresh not frozen so I get many salads. During the year, they will often swap in a couple of seasonal meals into the rotation so that we don't get bored.
The 1200 calorie meals are satisfying and keep me full. In 5 weeks, I've lost 15.2 lbs with virtually no effort other than short daily walks with my new puppy. And, my blood work is great.
My husband has been doing the 4-day "weekend plan" (Thursday through Sunday) and is down 10 lbs.
We're saving money since we don't go out to eat or DoorDash anymore. It would cost us much more than what we pay to make these meals ourselves.
For the average price of $7.75/meal, I get a meal planner, personal shopper, registered dietician and personal chef! Oh, and we can schedule a session with one of the registered dieticians at no extra charge!
