I have had a Sears Protection Agreement for soon to be 17 years. I have had to use the warranty no more than 5 times in those 17 years. The service I am receiving now vs when I signed up has gone from 10+ to -1. The technicians are wonderful, however they are overbooked and I was not notified that they were not coming. I have been without an oven for 4 days and was told they have to send parts out to be repaired because they no longer make my stove. No guarantee that that will work. I am sending positive energy to the CEO of Sears in hopes that they will wake up and do something about the incompetence.

NOT EVEN 1 STAR this company is shit. we have a warranty with our fridge and when our Kenmore fridge broke we called and they said they come out asap ( to them 1 week later ) they could not fix the problem and were getting us set up to get a replacement. ITS BEEN A MONTH! we have called and emailed and they are sending us in circles. They cant do their jobs and no one knows what they are talking about. As well they said they would replace with same size fridge but when I was able to finally get one person on the phone would tried to help she told me the sizing and its so much smaller then the one we have now. We will take the new fridge only due to being without a fridge for a MONTH but will be selling it as we went to a new company willing to help and great customer service and timely matter. 1 month without a fridge, we have spent more money on gas+food+ordering then the new fridge is even worth.

I have submitted 3 model numbers of possible replacement. On Mar 2, 2026, I’m waiting.

If I could give them zero stars I would!!! Three or four service calls since before Christmas!!! They don’t knock, have yet to fix my refrigerator and give a window of 8am to 5pm!!! That’s some bullshit!!! Then you finally get something stating your technician is on the way, they never shows up and the time keeps changing to further out!!! Do you have any clue sears how to keep clients and customers??? Because you will never get another chance again to make any kind of repairs at my residence!!! Your service is a joke!!! This company’s warranty for home appliances is dissatisfying to say the least. Don’t waste your money like we did. We will Invest our money then go on Angie’s least when in need of repair or buy new. Sears warranty dept technicians’s most of them are incompetent as they are deceitful. Today a technician called my husband’s phone then hung-up before he could pick up the phone(he checked the call log) then the tech sent a text saying he’d missed us. Deceitful business practices! This would have been their second time coming to our house for the same issue. He never even showed up at our property. We have multiple cams, none picked him up. Mind you, my husband took a day off work for this. Also, you would not ever get a supervisor on the phone. Every issue is handled by a robo call or text. So, the person texting will tell you as they are trained to get rid of you as soon a one minute. I am filing a complaint with the CFPB as well. Because we’ve been paying them for almost 5 years. Do not get the warrant it’s a scam. Even after you more than pay for a replacement, they will never replace your appliance/s. They will make you wait for months while they scavenger hunt old parts. Do not deal with this company.
I would not recommend Sears
We’ve been having issues with our washer on multiple occasions over the last year or two, and when we needed someone to repair it, they would cancel the appointment the day of and reschedule time and time again. When my mom would call, she could only speak with AI! Somehow, she was able to find the number of a previous sears repairman, and he would tell her that he wasn’t even scheduled to fix the washer! When they finally came to “fix” the wash by replacing the bin, it started making super loud noises again (like it did before it was fixed) and shaking like crazy. Sounded like it was going to burst through the wall lol. It was particularly loud one day and opening it we saw the agitator had come off. The screw that was supposed to hold it in place was missing, so we think it came off or was never put back when they put the new bin (the big tub) in. And the agitator was new, only a year old! After weeks dealing with handwashing clothes, my parents ended up buying a cheap washer, NOT from sears! Hopefully that one holds up for a bit.

To be honest I wouldn’t give Sears Home Services any stars! They cancelled 3 appointments before even coming to my home. Finally someone came out and he “decided” what was wrong and ordered the part. Received the part within 2 days and it’s been 2 months waiting on someone to come back out to fix my Refrigerator. Today was the 5th appointment they cancelled on me so I called GE (18006262005). Everything was handled and I’ll have a BRAND NEW refrigerator delivered within 7 days! The man at GE said he couldn’t believe I’ve been going through this for 2 months with 5 appointments cancelled. It has been since September and my microwave oven, under warranty, has not been fixed. I had numerous repairmen come and the fourth time I was informed that , since the parts are no longer available, it cannot be repaired. In the warranty it says that Sears would replace it. They haven’t kept their promise yet. I contacted them and was told I would get a check. NO CHECK YET!!! How much patience does a customer need to have? They did try to sell me additional insurance for other appliances, I declined, just want the microwave problem resolved. Why would I buy more insurance when they cannot even take care of the problem at hand?
Sears/Cinch Have Become A Huge Disappointment
This is the second time this year that I have had claim/repair with Sears/Cinch Warranty Program. My dryer broke down in February of this year and now again in December, the same issue. Both times I scheduled an available appointment date (online as every company wants you to do nowadays), only to receive text messages stating the count down of the days until the day of the appointment. Today, I receive a text stating "unfortunately due to unexpected staffing changes in my neighborhood, they need to reschedule". I called very upset and spoke with a service rep, who stated it's better to schedule with an agent. Their system is not always correct as it adds available Saturday dates and technicians do not work on Saturdays. I suggested they add notes to state that information when scheduling. He agreed and said it is up to the higher ups. I've paid my deductible and now have to wait another two weeks for service, just like I did in February. This is ridiculous and customers should not be responsible for paying a deductible upfront for appointments that are not promised when scheduled. They have really, really, gone down!! It's sad!!

I will never use sears again paid 1500 to fix my washer and dryer only to have my dryer break again...the technician either lied about his arrival or his fixing of my appliance.. they never listen to you after you complained over and over again...it took 6 weeks for them to fix not fix my appliances now I am once again without a dryer...sears will not compensate me but only to keep charging me...they dont even deserve the one star

Good morning everyone. I would say this has to be the worst service ever of any professional business that I have a socialize with. I had to trick them to come out here to fix what they supposed to fix after I purchased the parts to fix my stove. And then once they come out here to fix it, I have to help the technician fix the stove. He was trying to leave really quick to get out of work and just make the money only stove is not fixed. Been trying to get in touch with someone since the day we noticed it wasn’t fixed. still no response. And we paid almost $1000 to fix a stove. We could’ve did better just buying a new one if we know it was gonna happen. I would never purchase anything from serious again. I would never ask them to come fix anything from them. The best thing for them to do they need to just quit. The AI system they have is terrible. I could keep going on and on, but it doesn’t make any sense. But never go to sears to do anything I mean anything thank you guys. Oh I forgot this one star is not even a one star for them. They deserve no stars.

Ordered a part that was listed as in stock, email said 5 weeks to deliver. I canceled the order and a month later, still no refund. Filed a claim with my bank. Buyer beware, go elsewhere.

One month later I am still waiting to have my freezer repaired... we have had our appointments moved out many times -- I will never buy from Sears again. It was once a reliable company to buy appliances from. It was a waste of time and effort, Sears and its AI-generated service are the worst. There are no humans to speak to you. Their AI-generated texts are an absolute joke.
