I had a printer problem

I had a printer problem - canon troubleshooter hooked me up with these crooks - hate to admit that after a year they contacted me and tricked me into lifetime service - today they called to scan again and found more very serious problems - I got smarter since last time and caught him in a lie - I don't know what he was going ato steal this time - hope he didn't get it

Bought a Canon Megatank and had trouble…

Bought a Canon Megatank and had trouble connecting to wi-fi. Called Canon Support and somehow wound up with Saphire Software Solutions. (Still trying to track that process down).
He said he needed access, (big mistake), found malware and stopped print spoolers, and after two hours the printer was connected. When he logged off, all my wi-fi connections were lost and took me two days to fix. He also uninstalled my Bitdefender, even though he said it wasn't in conflict with theirs. Now they want $100 USD for the "fix". Beware of this company and do not give them access.

Disappointed in HP

We went to HP for help in installing a printer. After 45 minutes without much luck, the very nice support person said we would have to go to Microsoft support to fix some problems. We were then, for some reason, connected to Software Solutions. Again, a very nice man, but the bottom line: we needed to pay $399 for a year or $799 for three years to get rid of all the malware which we had not been aware of, and had never given us a problem in the past. After reading about the reported scams with this company while we were on the call, we immediately halted the process and transaction. Hoping now that they haven’t screwed up our computer. Extremely disappointed that HP connected us to Sapphire Software.

Scam company

Scam company - do not trust.

My father sought help with a printer problem, they accessed his computer installing any desk to advise he had 39,000 viruses (impossible as he had full virus protection), attempted to charge him £450 to fix a phantom problem they created. Had to get his computer rebuilt to remove the software he installed. Cancelled the payment with the bank, they’re now trying to obtain a payment of £50 for a printer they had delivered direct from Amazon that he never requested. Have reported them to national fraud agency via met police with all correspondence received. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

According to Saphire Solutions

According to Saphire Solutions, in order to cancel this contract; I am required to write the following detailed instructions in order to cancel my contract.

I regret to inform you that I am happy to cancel my contract with Saphire Solutions and be screwed by Saphire Solutions for additional charges of $ 99.00 for a 2nd "incident for adding a 2nd device which the contract states service for up to 6 devices. In order to receive a refund on this contract, again I reluctantly agree to have Saphire Solutions hold back a total of $ 199.00 USD from the initial charges I paid on credit card ending in # 3987 and the refund be processed back to that card immediately. Scammer Reported For Fraud

Scammer Reported For Fraud

Scammed by 82 year old grandad out of £400.00 - after installing ransomware, taking over computer and over a call charging him £400 to remove the virus they put there in the first place.

Ashish seems to love scamming the elderly looking at other reviews and comments across the web.

Luckily, companies house lists his information and address so it's been simple to share with the relevant authorities so that he can be investigated for his scam which seems to often target the elderly and technologically naive.

Whatever you do - AVOID CALLING THE NUMBER on the ransomware and letting this crook fleece you.

Interesting that the only positive review here is from the business owner himself for his sideline business ...

Hang up on these crooks

This company scammed my mother who is 80 out of £600. All she wanted was to connect her Envy HP printer to her computer and as I was away she thought she would call their support line. They (she thinks it was them) got Saphire to call from
India and before long sold her a “lifetime support package and firewall”. At one point she checked at Companies House they were a legitimate company in the uk. They are but have negative assets and one employee. She gave them access to her Mac. We strongly suspect malware has been installed. She has cancelled her bank card, changed her Apple ID and is now going to need to get her computer disinfected. Avoid these crooks like the plague. Needless to say no cooling off period was given under the distance selling regulations.

Do Not allow this company access to…

Do Not allow this company access to your computer system. I have just gone through a long process whereby I needed expert help (local) to remove Sapphire's malware and access to my laptop.
I also needed a new Visa card. In the end, we settled and they say a refund is coming.
I was advised by computer expert to avoid this company.

Happened to be referred by a friend who uses them for everything IT related. Really happy with their consistent support, available even at odd hours, which work well for me.
