Didn’t think i needed a solicitor
I recently worked with Paul at Samuel Phillips Solicitors during a difficult period involving a voluntary severance process with my employer of 30 years. At first, I was reluctant to involve a solicitor, as I didn’t feel it was necessary and was concerned it might complicate matters unnecessarily. However, after my employer insisted and it became clear that their process was not straightforward, I had little choice but to seek legal advice.
It was not easy to find a solicitor willing to take the case on. Several firms failed to respond or indicated they were unavailable. Paul, however, responded promptly and agreed to act on my behalf. From the beginning, he was clear, efficient, and focused on representing my interests.
The process itself turned out to be far more difficult than it needed to be, mainly due to the way my employer handled the situation. Throughout, Paul was the one constant. His advice was well judged, relevant, and based on a clear understanding of the circumstances. He offered more than legal input, his support made a very unpleasant situation feel more manageable. His professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment were evident throughout.
I’m very grateful for Paul’s support and would recommend him and Samuel Phillips Solicitors to anyone needing legal advice. While I hope not to be in this position again, I would contact Paul without hesitation if I needed representation in future. His service was consistent and highly reliable from start to finish.
