WORST BUSINESS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. READ THE REVIEWS AND DO NOT USE!!!

I was originally quoted £59 and ended up paying £762 (which I managed to get down from £900!). They are rude, lying con artists. Do not use. They even have a whole department that look after complaints as the place is so bad!!

Office completely misleading about prices and then once locksmith had removed the lock the price goes up 5 times. The receptionist was then extremely rude.
Hidden charges. Total scam

AVOID, PLEASE! Not real locksmiths, will advise a reasonable call out charge and then advise the only way to gain entry is to drill the lock and charge you expediently.
Very predatory practices! With no locksmith tools, or intentions to limit damage.

Gross overcharging, misleading advertising and immoral operators.

I’m very unhappy with the contractor sent to my home. He was completely unprofessional and unqualified, shouted at me in my own house, and behaved in a way that felt unsafe. He damaged one door, left another dismantled with rubbish all over the floor, and then charged me £150 when the original quote was only £84.
Absolutely unacceptable service — I felt disrespected and unsafe in my own home. Would never use this company again.

SCAM! Avoid at all costs!
We called Sam Locks for a key we had snapped off in the backdoor. Instead of trying to remove the key- which any reputable locksmith would try first- removed the lock then charged us £211 for an unregulated non British standard lock. The barrel was too large for the door and the anti snap was exposed leaving our property unsafe. When I asked Gil to come and replace it with a correct fitting barrel he said he would, but would charge me labour despite us apparently having a 2 year warranty. When I tried to resolve the issue with him challenged him on further charging me, he refused to do the work and told him I would report him to trading standards he said 'good luck with that'. Absolutely appalling customer service who did a terrible bodge job and a rogue trader. Please avoid unless you want to be scammed!

Please do not use this locksmith for many reasons. I was quoted £59 for a locksmith to let me into my house. When he did turn up the cost was £246plus VAT. Putting in a new lock was going to be another approx £400. The office refused to accept my calls when I tried to get hold of them to find out why the locksmith wanted to charge so much more than was quoted. He also refused to call his office on my behalf. They also refused to give a receipt and I asked for one to be emailed to me but I have not received one yet.
