Avoid this company at all costs!

I ordered two pairs of gardening gloves and as yet they have not arrived. According to UPS Tracking they received the order SB1641UK on the 13/3/2026. The order has never progressed any further. I contacted SaftaBee via email several times and was informed to be patient.

Today 24/3/2026 I telephoned UPS who informed me that they had the parcel and would not be forwarded as there were issues. A report has apparently been sent to SaftaBee from UPS as to the reason they cannot be forwarded on.

I endeavoured to telephone SaftaBee on 0161 339 4784 but it’s just an answerphone.

Consequently, I don’t have the gardening gloves ordered, UPS will not forward them on and SaftaBee just ignor any emails.

My next move is to report them to Trading Standards.

Appalling customer service

In summer 2024 I bought my first Safta bee suit. The suit was ventilated and just what I needed. Early summer 2025 the front zip teeth came apart and as this poses a risk to being stung I arranged to return the suit. It was replaced with no charge.
After a few wears of the replaced suit, when inspecting, my bees were inside my helmet and as they were trapped I got stung several times in the face and neck. For the first time I reacted more seriously to being stung and began to itch and get a rash. I removed the suit but left the zip as it was to show it was the teeth that had come apart.
I emailed Safta and was told to return it ‘tracked’ but patronisingly told me for my safety I should ‘ensure the zips are fully done up!’
After a few weeks of no response via email and phone they told me they didn’t have my suit. Thank goodness for Royal Mail as the App showed evidence of delivery. Safta’s response was that despite it being delivered they could not find it so would send a new suit. I did not want a new suit for obvious reasons and pushed for a refund. Again that took weeks with excuses that the finance person was away, then busy and when it finally came it was less than I’d paid. When questioned why, it was because their t&c’s were only to offer partial refund if returned after 30 days. At this point I gave up due to the appalling customer service following what was a fault with their product.

Looked good* But Not Fit for purpose *

Suit looked well made, my wife put on the suit with in 30min she was stung twice on her throat from inside requiring treatment. On close inspection the zip junction had bee sewn incorrectly and the zip cover flap velcro too far from zip leaving a bee entry.
Returned suit refused refund as suit worn. They thanked me for the information. I had to request
action from them to address solution as he Suit Was
Not Fit For Purpose. They gave two options.
1. PAY an additional £40.99 to replace the suit,as original suit couldn't be resold.
2.Or they will rerurn the suit, the faulty suit
They showed No remorse for my wife's injury,
They No longer respond to my emails.
Very poor after sales more interested in avoiding a financial loss from the Faulty suit than giving customer
Satisfaction. "Buyer Beware"
