Over a 4 week period the lift had broken down twice so we couldn't access our storage. 5 days in total. 29th to 31st of July and 6th and 7th of August.

The staff at St Albans are a credit to the company .
The staff at St Albans are very welcoming, friendly and so helpful. All areas are kept clean and tidy inside and out. One thing to point out is that I couldn't locate the St Albans site on this review.

Terrible service from Safe Store
Terrible service from Safe Store. After over a month of communication and being reassured that my storage unit was reserved and ready for the agreed date, I was told on the day that they had given my unit to someone else because their policies had changed.
I had already emptied my previous storage unit and had nowhere to put all my belongings. Completely unacceptable communication and customer service. I would definitely not recommend Safe Store.

Very inconvenient broken lift
I can understand a broken lift, however at a storage place having only one lift which was broken during my visit created a real issue. I had to carry heavy bags up the stairs to the top floor to my locker. Extremely inconvenient.
A polite smile from the worker at the front desk and some information on how everything here works also would have been nice.

We were made very welcome
We were made very welcome when we made our first visit to Safestore Warrington to sign up. The lady explained everything we needed to know about the Unit etc she was very friendly and helpful. Since then we have been a few times and each time the process is easy snd quick. Would definitely recommend. Wouldn’t mind an extra late night as at the moment there is only a Thursday other than that everything is 5*

Safestore have handled our experience very professionally and the storage units are all easily accessible. Our removal driver had a blow out on the way to collect our items and I would like to say an extra special thank you to Fiona who let us stay past the closing time so that we could get everything out and into our new home.

I had an outstanding experience at Safestore Brentford thanks to Asim when I was sending a parcel with DHL. From the moment I arrived, he was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional.
